Thank you! Miss Radio Shack. I just ordered those posts. I haven't looked inside yet, but will the internal connection need to be soldered?

1976 Khorns , wood cabinets , k-33 woofer square magnet , K-77 tweeter Alnico , K-55V Alnico midrange ,k-400 metal horn , AA network , PWK pie Badges or Copper laser klipsch badges would be rarer , pictures could tell us more as to the Khorn Type .
Are the badges on these the Copper laser badges you mentioned?

A few months ago I acquired a pair of Heresy II's that are in great condition except for one broken binding post. Can I just replace the single post and or is it more involved? Where can or should I source the replacement part/s from? Thanks!

Here are some pics of my new to me Khorns that I was looking for date information on. Thank you for helping me identify them.
I acquired these locally a few days ago. The seller also included new pairs of Klipsch woofers, tweeters and crossovers, which he bought from Klipsch a while ago. My understanding is that he purchased these parts from Klipsch because he thought with the speakers being so old the internals needed replaced. Once he replaced everything with the new internals, he couldn't hear a difference between the originals and the new, so he put the originals back in.
I'm currently renovating our detached garage and making it into a mancave which is where these Khorns will reside. They work and sound good to me. Any thoughts on the need for additional upgrades beyond what the original owner attempted to do?

Can't speak specifically to the units you're looking at in the Rogue Audio line but I have a Cronus Magnum III that I use with my Heresy IV's and it's a great match. I have a streamer and a turntable connected to it and really enjoy the sound it produces. I've also used the CMIII with my Khorns and its also a great match.

Im not familiar with these speakers. How would you describe their sound? How about compared to other Heritage models? They are intriguing.

They look very nice!

What are you asking for the pair?

I have a single LSi in St Petersburg Fl if you can get it. I think I paid $400 or so, you can have it for that.
Definitely interested! PM sent.

Ideally looking for a single used La Scala to use as a center channel to pair with my two Klipschorns (1988) for a home theater setup. That said, knowing that it may be next to impossible to locate a single La Scala for sale I'm open to looking at pairs and storing the other. Thanks!

Mark - We spoke and emailed a few times last year after I acquired a JMA Blueberry Extreme and a set of pCATs. I had a minor issue with one of the pCATS that you graciously helped me with. Thank you again and I'm glad to see you back.

Aaron, I have a deal you may be inclined to ponder. If you will come to Plant City in a few weeks, you can take my Quicksilver KT88 monoblocks and Quicksilver line stage preamp. Try these out for a month or so and if they appeal to you, they will be a bit less than your budget. If not, bring them back and try something else.
I have had this gear for 20 years and have paired this setup with dozens of speakers from Magnepans to Klipshorns. I am not actively selling but I know you and these no longer get much use. I use vintage McIntosh for the Klipshorns and a Heresy in 3 channel stereo (magical) and use a Powernode with my Zu speakers. I think I am going to settle on these two systems for a while. That leaves a lot of electron manipulators I have managed to accumulate over the years lying around unused.
If you don't mind sharing, what vintage McIntosh are you using?
PrimaLuna compared to Decware
in 2-Channel Home Audio
Posted
Just read through this thread and really appreciate the knowledge and experience that is being shared regarding tube gear. Has anyone compared the Rogue Audio Cronus Magnum III to the Primaluna EVO 400? Any direct experience? I have a CMIII but all of the hype surrounding the Primaluna EVO 400 has me curious as to the potential differences between them.
