I am open to doing some trading for some vintage 70's silver faced gear , if you have something let me know . There is nothing wrong with this table I'm just not using it much .

I have decided to let my LT-30 go , it is not being used as much as it should . This TT is fully functional , the tonearm belt has been replaced , cold solder joints touched up , lights that needed replaced when I purchased it also have been done , it is a plug and play unit . The dustcover is not original but I like the smoked one that's on it plus the feet are not original . I would give the unit a 8.5 on cosmetics because of a few minor small marks . It did not come with the original headshell but it has the original 45 adapter and the always lost extra counter weight . I will sell it with or with out the cartridge which is a AT15xe with a Shibata stylus . Sorry I will not ship this one so if interested it is set up in my system to demo Selling for 700

Wanted to ask if there is a way to get the chalky white off of the surrounds , I have seen this on several sets and I have a set with this issue . I have wiped them with a couple of things and it comes back . Any suggestions ?

The KG4 diaphragm will interchange so I have one in the works .

I am looking forward to giving these a listen , the one that is fully functionable sounds good but need a pair to really tell .

Just called Crites and Bob is out until tomorrow so I will give them a call and find out , the man I talked to thinks there the same but he recommended I ask Bob to make sure .

I will check on that tomorrow if I don't find out here , plus I want to make sure there is no other issues before I upgrade .

I did look at his and am considering that , I just bought these and wanted to give them a listen before I did a upgrade . I know it's not a lot but I was offered a diaphragm out of a KG4 for cheap and need to know if there is a difference .

I am looking for a tweeter diaphragm for my KG5.2's which is a K85 and wanted to ask if one would work out of a KG4 . They look the same but don't know if there is any difference .

Is the diaphragm out of a KG4 the same ?

I appreciate the link but I don't need the complete assembly , figured if I was going to spend that much I would get the Crites tweeters which I may do if I can't find a single OE .

Fixing to take these over to a friends for him to use for a while so the refinish project is going to be on hold for a bit , they do sound good since I found a set of tweeters for them .

Sad thing is the rest of the speaker is in acceptable condition , the other is in better shape . Tempted to see if I can get away with spraying the one top and see how close I can get it .

Had a set offered from a AK member so they are on the way , hopefully by the weekend I can give them a listen .

Thanks Jim , I did misunderstand what you said especially when I went back and looked at the label again . The Duratex looks to be a textured coating as I did a quick search on it .

The labels say Fin, Blk

I just have a extra bedroom for my listening space , I did see your post on the Duratex when I did a search earlier . So what finish is under the black according to the labels ? I would like them to look nice but they don't have to be show quality .
