  1. Oh Yea I used to like to get in it with less on and loved the feeling. Since 01 and the skin cancer starting after being on massive immunos I have not been out. My arms neck and face have a little but the rest is as bright as my hairy bu**. So with my Scotch-English heritage guess I was almost a carrot top.
  2. Amazing what some good chips and salsa with tea can do for this tired bod! Not salty like the days of old but it's got enough to maybe help what I sweated out. That and the feisty music. Like these guys, makes me wanna move! I'll crank it, get a shower and clean clothes, then have time for more before the game starts!
  3. He'd been up there for a while. Music has no boundaries!!
  4. I hear you. It's gotta be the heavy food I ate, and I know better. But ham fit to eat is something I have not found in years. That is not an exaggeration. Don't have any pizza making stuff so can't do the pineapple bacon one that's good with those bell peppers. Since working age (14) lots of time I had to cut grass in the heat of the late afternoon with females fussing at me. Wasn't even hot except for the sunburn

    The Other Discs

Music For The Masses is one of their best also!
  6. Made in the shade. I'm inside 5 min now and I've had enough. Not even 90 and low humidity <= 50% but I'm beat & burnt already. I'll get the rest tomorrow. Maybe. Guess that heavy brunch could have worsened it, I had two Eggs Benedict sandwiches! Bet that's it, bet I won't get hungry until gametime too. C'Mon `Canes Do it for Coach Brind'Amour & the crazed Caniacs there tonight!
  7. That's funny. Claire? I'd forgotten. AP brought her in for non-lexical vocals. Sounded to me like a big _ . What happened to her? She was a babe back then, later she looked like a boy! I know the big ugly stick whacked me when I wasn't paying attention, but geeeze. See this. https://2or3lines.blogspot.com/2014/02/pink-floyd-great-gig-in-sky-1973.html then in `03
  8. If that Yah was getting "Too Hot to Handle"* it's good you took it in to get checked/refurbished since you liked the sound coming from it. With the heat you get doesn't seem like it would be able to cope with that and running for hours on end. Reds are good, orange too. Like the green in a salad or just cut up salad toppings soaked in Greek dressing a few hours before lunch. Haven't done that this year yet, those things are getting ripe and will be local at the farmers market soon. *UFO
  9. Darn Straight! My second concert was the Styx Grand Illusion tour!
  10. Oops! Sorry bout that mate, y'all sound so much alike
  11. @dirtmudd stirred up at least two of us the other day with a clip of Tommy Shaw doing a song with Alan Parsons for a July release. Tommy's busy and Styx has one out this June! Anyhow I'd always been harassed for saying that he is one of the best rock singers out there . Hearing him in a current recording I have no doubt in what I've known since the 70s! Darn he's got a good set of pipes!
  12. Ay ya yaa! I saw that show just last year. From Down Under, a kind of cheesy sci-fi. Decent entertainment called 'Almighty Johnsons" they were Norse Gods and had to stop the serpent wrapped around the globe from eating it's tail because that equals doomsday. & cheesy sci-fi is not insulting, I dig the genre!
  13. Ronnie Hawkins did part of the soundtrack of our youth if you were my age or older, 7 in 1970. Musician, Actor and more. He's responsible for putting the Band together. RIP Ronnie! https://citizenfreepress.com/breaking/ronnie-hawkins-passes-away/
  14. Me too, liked what we got the other day!
  15. It was a couple years after that iRobot came out before I knew he helped engineer DSoTM. The intricacies of the keyboards and guitars weaving sounds was common to both. And the imaging that come from each is prevalent on many systems whether they could do it easily or not! Read something I think and while at my friends house pulled out the other and saw Alans name in the credits!
  16. Really like the Hyde Park version with the camera panning around. Also the raw nature of the recording and the band! I'll hear the rest later!
  17. Different mood now. Tough hockey game going on for my team. One of the "UNEXPECTED" "Goings Home" as we'd call it down here. Hearing that way too much lately. RIP Andrew F A FL neighbor was big time into these guys & I only had/have a best of because there were FM stations to cover this type of Alternative Music. This is from the last decade.
  18. Good stuff Dave! @Full Range you're probably right, thought my idea for that one was off a little!

    Alan White

One of the greatest bands ever. Takes a higher caliber drummer to lead a progressive rock band. He followed a great one and took them to the top! RIP Mr White
  25. Dave's been gettin' almost blues-funky lately, I've been all over, today it's all testost----- laden teen to 20s west coast stuff. last time I played this cassette might have been it's curtain call play. Salty Dog circa early 90s:
