  1. https://www.swpc.noaa.gov/products/alerts-watches-and-warnings Danger Will Robinson! Space Weather Warning!!
  2. I've seen you post LPs by Can in the past. Nice little laid back prog I just listened to. Spot on with the message too!
  3. Aren't you... die Tür öffnen
  4. Like I've said before... Gorgeous museum piece!
  5. I'm glad it's not this week! Got lots that I'm supposed to make happen, other stuff happening also, desk should finally get here and I'll put the tv up again to stay as my monitor. Get the ekg for the procedure? Tried Saturday, a guy there at the small rural hospital got mad and wanted to know who sent me to get it done on a weekend. Ay yai yai! I told him again, I'm getting used to this new world up here, hospitals did not close up on the weekends in the cities. & that no one told me which day to show up, like I said when I was first asked. *I do miss parts of what city-life used to be before though!
  6. Glad I'm eating my Sunday dinner now! That would make me hungry. I was surprised a couple decades ago when I found seafood tacos. Ordered tuna with mango/hab salsa once, they were addictive!
  7. Yikes, well I'm a Southerner and that day long blizzard I saw once was enough for me. Feb of `04 I think. A thunderstorm with snow instead of rain that lasted about 16 hours! 28 inches on the back porch, 60mph winds, the low level spot after I climbed up and out of the sliding glass door!
  8. Good to see you spinning again George! Cool here lately also, just hit 50 but in the 40s the rest of the week for highs. I would be a third with that Midnight Sun LP, nice play for a Sunday afternoon!

    The Other Discs

Took a ride into town today, 40 min one way! My gas station finally raised their prices, got to get another one now! Changed out the music from Dio and Faith No More to these guys for the trip! Jelly Jelly came on when I was dipping and climbing in & out of the hills & serious curves that I've gotten used to on a couple numbered state roads!
  10. Nice! @Klipsch104db Analogue Productions made the absolute best sounding LPs I have with about two exceptions. Fagen's Nightfly 140gram and Claptons 1/2 speed Slowhand that I didn't know it was a half speed until way later! And an 461 Ocean Blvd original release that tells me mastering was at it's apex in the mid-1970s!! talk about "soundstage" ? that one's GOT IT!
  11. I think Matteo has heard of Jeff Beck! Very Good Guitarist! "It's Been a Long Time Since I've"... listened to this wonderful record! Brought up in another thread, it's my second time today with this on.
  12. Like the tune! Those super crates hold 100 + LPs and I don't count the doubles or triples. That aloe came from under a pier at the Shark Bite Capital of the World... New Smyrna Beach, FL in the mid-90s. In Ormond, Maitland then in Rockledge and also Port St John is the rest of it. I was with a gypsy then... they were left there three to four feet tall with a flower like fireworks that shot up out of the middle. They spread like crabgrass, with shoots. I've got those pots with me. Died with the others where I was confined in sc. No direct light into any window. Tried outside finally, and a cat killed em all and mom's pearl plant. So when I road trip back down to the Free & Protected State of Florida to surprise my X, I'll get another shoot!
  13. Still keeping above ground. The source of my consternation, sleepless nights and more four letter words than I've yelled than ever before! Good thing nobody hears when you scream in the boondocks!

    The Other Discs

@dirtmudd Yep, knew you'd know you were the other guy I'd said would know who he was! As a matter of fact you told me about that release years ago... said it had the best version of Dr. Diamond on it. Supposedly it got left off of "Starless & Bible Black" but not put on another I guess gave the fans something to look forward to with nearby or day-trip away shows!
  15. At first I had stuff in two 10' X 15' X 9' storage bins floor to ceiling. I know about missing your LPs. Think I've seriously lost it over the issues causing me to not having 95% of my belongings anymore. 60 and on SS I can't replace all of it now, what is irreplaceable I'm under threat to stay away. Think I'll take a break from all this for a while.
  16. Had those in a folder for so long not sure if I'd used it here before. Things like complexion, and hair come into play with stuff like cowboy hats. More with tats. You've got Mediterranean in you, might could pull it off Paul!
  17. Another great one! Kansas must have been way underrated. They were just incredible with their music composition and musicianship. Plus they could showcase both of those things onstage each time I saw `em!
  18. @Tim Sr. that sounds like you do know! I haven't had my current 100% JBM (select, cheap but nice) but four or five times the last month, so when I start making 40 oz at a time... I'll be wired! I picked up their Linn clone that is everything that was plus a lot more when it came out. The ProJect Classic, the cart stunk so I put one on that brought out the articulate highs, the rich bass, and the liquid smooth mids.
  19. Different Day Different Wavelength Love this band, always have, always will. Barracuda got me to take it home, this song and the rest made me play it until the microline styli wore it out over thirty years. New half-speed replacement, all is well when I get it back! I'm 2-2 with finding original release music tonight!!

    The Other Discs

A bit stressed out or PO'd today. So I pulled the gals up for some relaxing or what was very mild rock for me long ago! Cued at the title track.
  21. Brandon says he dit'ant do it. But it sho dit'ant be like this a couple years ago. George... glad for you man. I feel for ya, but you don't know jack about missing your vinyl! Going on three ()(*&%$ing years now trying to make myself content with a couple hundred cd's instead of 700 - 800 ultrasonic cleaned, pristine and new LPs. If I ever... you will know because I'll play a few of them for 24 hours, six pots of coffee non-stop!
  22. Leftovers are great if you add something to the meal the next couple days. Center cut chops baked in Lipton Onion Soup, added parmesan and the bake and eat bread today.
  23. Not a problem & we were talking Heritage before you got those a couple weeks ago. Now... the laser gun? Looks like one from an animates series? I'm scheduled tentatively for surgery the 28th, good luck with yours man!
  24. Looks nice! What amp, also what phaser is that?
