  1. This is just nice: The next up is his hour long Rory Gallagher set, and it's worth the listen too!
  2. This track has a special poignance the last couple years. Maybe I'll see about making it the alarm on my phone! First track was in 1440 + at least this one does 1080. See, the moral sticks if you hear it!
  3. Thats a lot of theatrics! Wanted some bass looked around and found the Dr had it goin' on again. Smoky club on the wrong side of the big city.... Yea seen the movies and it probably sounded like this Alright @MicroMara get your ears on!
  4. I had a Husky 350 for a decade or so, never-ever had a problem starting. But cut down and dice up a pine tree... you had to spend two days cleaning it! Thats one of the two surviving records of his I have. Nice.
  5. You just knew I was sitting here eating my mexican still listening to Steely Dan! Timothy B isn't mentioned in the article until the end... BIG goof! Not yours doing the copy/paste thing we all do! As a promo too, I love the ones I've got even a couple that were foreign to me when I got them.

    The Other Discs

Well, the music stopped. Can't have that now. Raining all day, getting darker had to flip the light on. "Pretzel Logic" and "Katy Lied" are on this one! Got one left, steaming is easy in the wave!

    The Other Discs

Listened to YES earlier this Tamale-day. Everybody knows "The Yes Album" Changed over a few minutes ago & though I'd just share an excellent set I got a while back. Four cd's cover Steely Dan from 1972 to 1980. This one is "Can't Buy a Thrill" and about half of 'Countdown to Ecstasy"
  9. Hang on Mike! On the RED LP in that set there might be one lullaby: Need my records back!

    The Other Discs

How's everyone doing tonight? Not paying attention to the news, not going outside in the cool rain again either. Last third of the weeds I had to cut was done during a pretty good shower after lunchtime today. It did wash the dust off of the lawn mower. & I did have fish for dinner, supposed to be flounder and darn it's been so long I'm not sure, but it was sweet with the slaw. Other decades did have some good music as far as I'm concerned... but you know which way I lean. So listen to the first tune entitled "Soothe" then hold on or turn it down if you aren't feeling it tonight Truthfully these are mostly slow songs with an edge.
  11. @Invidiosulus Thought it was leftover from halloween and you didn't want to deal with lacquer thinner. Wait, it doesn't take that anymore huh? Goths stick together!
  12. B b but The Road to Red ain't no lullaby! Like the way that fella above presents the knowledge and his own KC fanaticism!
  13. Could of, Should of, Would of The nfl dumb dumbs ruined it, said it wasn't "right"
  14. ALWAYS! You have a good one. Got to find a way if I'm not!
  15. & Tebow was freakin fantastic when he was in college. I remember one of his last bowl games in the red zone he went up and did three pump-fakes and a td pass while he was airborne !!
  16. Nope, don't have the where with all to set it back at least five feet from the keyboard and mouse right now. It was a fun little experiment but too much up close like it was. * Yes. Lived it back in the 90s while I was down there. I watched NFL back then also and only the three FL teams were on Sundays!
  17. & you know I like Johnny & Edgar!
  18. Had capers on smoked salmon before.....
  19. Wasn't trying to Billy. But that song made me think of them, the man next door to us brought his in-laws over here when I was little. He had left during WWII, brought them over in the 60s. It was Ya Ya and Papulya have no idea if it's spelled right!
  20. Nice tunes. Know what ya yas are slang for even if was a bit before my time. But Ya Ya was a very nice lady that gave us pastries when I was young at Christmas. In Greek it's for grandma!
  21. Dang, Gilda Radner was just..... & Roseanne Roseannadanna too!
  22. Plenty, but can't even show the other side of my small tool box I brought back the other week. Or my helmet!
  23. She's still a ways out from you @billybob. Pulling in from the east coast towards you man. https://rammb-slider.cira.colostate.edu/?sat=goes-16&sec=full_disk&x=9006.675048828125&y=10752.89501953125&z=1&angle=0&im=12&ts=1&st=0&et=0&speed=130&motion=loop&maps[borders]=white&lat=0&p[0]=geocolor&opacity[0]=1&pause=0&slider=-1&hide_controls=0&mouse_draw=0&follow_feature=0&follow_hide=0&s=rammb-slider&draw_color=FFD700&draw_width=6 Drag the screen down to see North America head on.
  24. Well it's been 80 here for a couple of days, and muggy. 70 with 30% today... perfect. Got the computer wiped and back up... now I only want to get away from it!! Took my tape out there before I put boxes under that pile and lit it up yesterday. My guesstimating is getting bad, that stick was eight feet long. Remember sizzleburgers? Good once you drain off the grease, especially with an onion cut up in the pan with `em! Made four out of a pound and a half of 80/20. One more for later today.
  25. Yikes, some of those have to be for the insurance. How can anybody not even look up how you make the tree go the direction. Pc's, cell phones... I had to ask back in the 70s when I had to take my first tree down. The one here? I wouldn't do it even if I still had my Husky 350.
