Hello, I’ve been looking for a nice set of RF-7ii for a while. I’m guessing shipping is probably out of the question (im in south Florida)? Let me know, thanks!
Unfortunately I no longer have the boxes for them so I don't have a good way of shipping them.

After a long deliberation, I’ve decided to put my speakers up for sale as they rarely get used since my daughter was born. They have been used in my dedicated theater where they only had moderate use even before she was born. They are in great condition and sound amazing with nothing wrong with them. They were powered with an Emotiva XPR-2 and XPA-5. I no longer have any of the boxes so it must be a local pickup - I’m located near Charlotte NC. Let me know if you have any questions.
RF-7 II - $SOLD
RC-64 II - $SOLD
RS-62 II - $600/pair (only 2 available now)$2400 for all

What do you value the Oppo at? That will help people determine if they have comparably valued trades.

Up for sale is my Pioneer BDP-88FD Bluray player. I'm awaiting my Oppo 203 and no longer need this unit. It's in good overall condition with some minor scratches on the top (from moving in/out of the rack), front panel has no scratches/dings. If the unit will be used in a rack or in a cabinet, you'll never see them. The player has functioned flawlessly and is the best player I've had to date. I no longer have the box nor accessories for it as they were lost during the move to the new house and I always used URC for control of it. The most recent that I could find that was sold was for $1k but was in great condition with no scratches and had accessories. I haven't seen too many others being sold so I'd think $600 OBRO shipped would be a fair price. Let me know if you have any questions or would like any other pictures. Thanks for looking!

To be fair, the ratings are probably based on specs and there are much better performing subs out there. Not to say that they're bad, just that there's plenty of competition. Usually I would say to stay away from opinions on 'Best Of..' articles and look more at numbers and facts. I was originally looking at the same sub but there were some that out performed it at the same price point and I just went down into a rabbit hole from then on. Ended up with some 18s and ultimately a better decision since I won't have an itch to upgrade them for quite some time and is in a dedicated theater.

I've fed my RF-7 IIs power from a few different amps/receivers and haven't heard any AVRs that can compete with the sound of separate amps. I've tested with a few different AVRs (Yamaha, Onkyo, and 2 different Pioneer Elite receivers) as well as testing bi-amping on them (couldn't tell any difference). Once I borrowed a friend's B&K 200.2 and tested them with the 7s, I never even gave another thought to having an AVR power them. I'm using an Emotiva XPR-2 to power the pair (600wpc) and XPA-5s (200wpc) powering the other 9 speakers in the theater and they definitely love the power and headroom. I definitely agree with Michael that they added more high and low end throughout. I don't regret spending the money on the separates at all. Hopefully that helps, let me know if you have any questions for me!

I don't have the room in my rack for an extra amp which is why I'm looking for another 5 channel.
Thank you for your help though

How do you think I ended up with the Marantz 6011 I also didn't need?
(thank you @jwc for first tempting me then making it affordable)
I'd hate to take something that you're interested in so I believe you need to grab it

I'm just wanting a little more power and to match my other amps. I think you may just need to buy it if it's tempting you!

I can't believe how much used Emotiva gear cost these days. Some are asking more used than they were new. I guess because the new line came out.
Yeah, not looking to pay original MSRP but a fair price for them if they're still under warranty.

No longer looking for an XPR but looking to go with 2 - XPA-5 Gen2s for Atmos.
Thanks

Trying to stay with Emotiva since I have other equipment from them.
Thanks Bill

I'm looking to purchase a 5 channel Emotiva amp for my home theater I'm building. Wanting an XPR-5 mostly but also considering an XPA-5 Gen 2 or 3 -- decent warranty period remaining is a plus. I'm located near Charlotte NC but not opposed to working something out on shipping. Let me know what you have!
Thanks

If you would've had these up a couple weeks ago when I picked up my other pair of RS-62 IIs, I would've gotten these instead. GLWS

Definitely seems fishy

I'd say that's a decent deal even at asking price. If you could get it all for $800-900, that would be a great deal.

Congrats, looks great!

Thanks for the help. I have heard from people 5.2.2 is more immersive than 7.1, so I figured why not try it out.
I would agree with that, I think it'll benefit you more.

I hope so. I saw that klipsch came out with some cheaper atmos speakers that sit on top of fronts or rears. It will be a little while before the upgradeitis will be fed again. I have time to research. It would be easier to just do the ceiling speakers as running the wires would be a sinch
Doing the in ceiling speakers would be a much better option either way. The add-on modules are good for those who can't install in ceilings but I'd say you're going the best route.

I have some RB 51 iis that I am using for my surround/sides. I can use those as rears. Atmos doesn't recommend dipole speakers, and the rs 41 iis don't really mesh well anyway for my room as it is the ole tv in the corner set up you see so often in new houses.
That makes sense, it should sound good!
