Like The History Kid shows above, they have three mounting holes. Where my system is in the basement and the ceiling is unfinished, I have the tucked in between the floor joists firing directly at the seats. They also can be swiveled up/down and left/right to aim perfectly at listening position. They can be found fairly cheap and we're a super easy solution for me. Took just a few minutes to mount and then adjust. They are perfect, but they sound great to me.

I agree I don’t think these can be beat for the money and versatility… in ceiling speakers were not a viable option for me since I have a two-story home…. And I think these sound as good, if not better than most of what is available out there.

How do you mount these for Atmos? I'm interested in doing the same and interested in these speakers as a result.

This is how I did mine, however those are fours not fives that are mounted in the atmos position… keep in mind. The fives are pretty big.  I have my fives mounted on the back wall as rear surrounds.  The fives may seem a bit obtrusive as Atmos speakers, depending on the size of your room but I’m not sure what your situation is.  The fours seem to be the perfect fit in my room.  However, regardless of the size, make sure you are using a stud if you’re mounting them overhead on the ceiling. I would be careful to use anchors in that situation.  Hope this helps, and by the way they sound awesome.

I currently run 4 of these for my Atmos speakers in my original 7 series Reference system. I read years ago that they were fairly close as far as timbre matching. They do great in my opinion. Really nice speakers for the size and money. GLWS!

Couldn’t agree more I’m running 2 fours for Atmos in a pair of fives for rears and they’re outstanding…  trying to think of a reason I would need to buy another pair but unfortunately I can’t come up with a good one,  to be honest I’m surprised these aren’t sold already…. These easily rival what’s on their market currently for a lot less money.

  4. For those that are looking at these are outstanding speakers…. I am using the fives for rears the fours for Atmos mounted overhead.  They sound outstanding and if you’re looking for one to use as a center, I don’t have any doubt that it would do a great job.

  5. That was a nice thing about buying the master series picture was preset for optimal quality from factory, so I didn’t have to mess with all that… have to agree that the picture is awesome on the TV weather you are setting it yourself or getting it preset…. Glad to hear you’re enjoying it.

I have an appointment tommorrow evening to pick them up , I allready wired the money to the seller . He told me that the RP 8000 F hasn´t any chance against the KM 4 😂

I know the seller said that somewhat jokingly but I have to agree with this statement, I have RP 280f, And I’m not sure that they’re better than the KG 4.2 that they replaced… To be honest I may very well go back to my beloved 4.2s and sell the 280s…. Still on the fenceStill on the fence

  9. Hey Soner, Sorry you haven’t got a lot of responses but I’ll take a stab at this…. The baseline crossover recommended for home theater is 80, However that is not always the best setting…. Using room correction like odyssey, Quite often that will take the bass out of your system more than you would like…. I used it on mine and I felt like it completely remove the dynamics from my sound..  I would personally recommend 15 to 20 over what your lowest rating is for your speakers, I did it in my system is down and it helps tremendously.  Hopefully this will help and give you a baseline but as stated above we may need more information to help you further….

  10. Sorry to see you haven’t gotten any responses on this yet…. I to have Dirac, Which is far and  way better than Odyssey…. Seemed like odyssey took all of the dynamics completely out of my home theater this was not the case with Dirac, if you are going to have Klipsch speakers I don’t see why you would want to try to achieve a completely flat sound …. I believe I did nine positions when I set up mine but from what I’ve heard the most important one is the first one, It is somewhat time consuming if you’re doing several positions and it is also critical that you have dead silence in the room or you’ll be starting over for each position… Things like ACs turning on and off and the ambient noise outside do you get picked up by the microphone and affect the readings, So you want to be mindful of that… In my opinion we’re worth the time to set it up properly….
Also keep in mind you can pick different target curves depending on how you want it to sound… More bass, less bass ect.

hope this helps a little bit keep us posted as to what your results are and what are you think I’m curious to know..

  11. Pretty sure these are a scam, I’ve seen these listed several times off and on and it says the same thing, that they’re owned by an older couple with distinguished taste beware…

  12. Plug other speakers into the same wires that you were running to the 8000s and see if those speakers are actually working or not, That way you can be sure that the problem is not with the speakers themselves
