I will have the lll's, just waiting to move and get a bigger room. The 280's will move to the rear.....
As for now, awaiting my 64lll from Cory.
One step at a time.

I guess if you don't want them tilted back, don't use the base, I like it, might pull the base off of mine.
-
I had a pair I picked up in '81, wish I still had them. Incredible.
-
What do you notice the most over the rp28f's?
-
What kind of power are you feeding them?
-
No way!!

Ordered, and on it's way. Found a nice mono amp, 200 watts, thinking on doing it. That way, I would have equal power all along the front.

Thanks youthman! Definitely paid off...

$1300, free shipping, no tax, sound distributors.

It's probably a little smoother, but that's all I can see.

One more thing guys- is the new 3 series worth $500 more than the two? I'm talking the center channel, as I want a bigger one, than my current 440c. Thanks!
-
The new 64lll should timbre match my rf280p's, don't you think? There is nowhere near me to audition that piece.

Excellent!

Sound distributors, Las Vegas. Best deals around.

Thanks for the welcome!

I think I want the 64lll, I like the silicone around the throat, seems to make the highs a little smoother. But, is 100 watts enough?
-
Yes, sorry, I'm new.
-
The Denon is 200/100/200. L/C/R. That's just what it is. It's 6 channel, but bridged, this is what it delivers.

Thinking on a new center, I have a 440c, and I want a 64lll. Is 100 watts enough? My other fronts are 280f's, and they sound good. Just looking for more from a center.
-
More of a wall of sound. My other thought is to buy a new 64lll, but I only have 100 watts, from a Denon poa 5000. My left/right speakers are rp280 f's, powered with 200 watts, as the Denon is bridged into a 3 channel. I just want more in the center. Thoughts?
-
Thoughts on 2 rp440c's, one on top of the other? It will also double my amp power, to 200 watts. Thoughts?
-
I want some opinions on center channel. I have an rp440c, and I'm thinking on adding a second one, to sit right on top of it. I'm thinking I will get a little bit more of a sound wall, and it will raise my amp to 200 watts, when wired in parallel. It's a good quality three channel amplifier, the load will not be a problem. Thoughts?
