  1. OK..i just read this post so hear I go. Now don't jump on me for this or anything guys. I think it was a good idea...I am an athiest. I really hated the fact that I had to show respect for my country while addin the word "god" into it. Don't get me wrong yo..I love this country...I just don't think it should all revolve around some imaginary person that lives in the clouds. Take what has happened latley...A church in Bethpage was struck by lighning...and priests are molesting little boys. So is God really that good of an image. I'm really sorry If I have offended anyone...just some of my opinions. -Sinatra
  2. Well I have not wrote something on this forum in a while. I thought I would just stop by and say Hi to everyone. I have been doing a lot, purchased a car and am working. I really have had no time at all. Well has anything really interesting happened, or just the same old song and dance. Update me plz. -Sinatra
  3. I know that posts were already made to remember PWK. But I had to make one of my own. I cannot believe that that this would happen before i got to meat him. I would have really liked that. But he lived a long and VERY productive life that he used to please others with a wounderful sounding speaker. He did things that we can only dream of doing, he was a remarkable person with a gift...he Will be missed. -Sinatra
  4. I have no doubt in my mind that the new klipsch subs sound great. I own the RSW 10 and am very impressed by it. Maybe this idea came from the fact that i really can't find klipsch around here. THe places i go to are Audio Den and Harveys. Then I go to others like PC Richard, circut city, best buy and then finally the wiz which is the only one that sells klipsch. I didn't say they sounded BAD, just different. I own KG 4.5s ... I love them. Sorry If I annoyed anyone, its just somethin that was on my mind. -Sinatra
  5. I went to the wiz the other day to listen to some speakers and ask the employees questions to which they did not know the answer lol. I found a klipsch power tower from the reference series I believe. It sounded nothing like the sound i am used to from my KG's. I seems that klipsch has gone downhill. I hear that klipsch used to sell in places like Harvey Electronics, along with brand names like Martin Login and Vienna Acoustic. Now there in the wiz with a much lower price sticker along with a much lower quality. Don't take me wrong i LOVE klipsch. But does anyone think they have gone a little downhill? -Sinatra
  6. Can anybody please explain to me what those klipsch stores are like. I live in New York and don't think theres any around me. I would love to go to one of those. Is it like a "best Buy," set up. Or would describe as more of a "harvey Electronic." -Sinatra
  7. Don't speaker have to be broken in. I hear that you need to give them at least 100 hours of play before you get the greatest sound possible out of them. -Sinatra
  8. Wow, ummm......yeah. Well the chinese make some of the best audio equipment you can buy. I bet that everyone in this forum(but you) has a forein made reciever, speaker, amp ect.I don't think the Klipsch forum is the place to get people to boycot audio. If you feel so worried then go over and check it out, unless ya don't feel THAT bad. -Sinatra

  11. Does anyone know where i can find an old pair of advents, and for how much. I love listening to those things and would like to have a pair of my own to show off to people lol. Although, should i hook an old amp up to them or will a new one serve the same purpose. -Sinatra
  12. There is so much rage forming with this thread, wow. My fault i guess, Troy...i go by the name Striker. You may not know me because i did not post too many this year. I really didn't go bragging in the polk forum...i simply asked questions. I feel that i know a good deal about speakers and audio but not as much as most people...I'm simply trying to fill my head with as much as i can. I never really told anyone this but i am hoping to come out with a line of speakers of my own. I have some good ideas but, lol...its just a dream of mine. Sinatra is my last name...not a bad name for a speaker...taking old blue eyes to help promote may not be bad. Again its just a silly dream of mine. I don't knock polk....at least i try not too. lol, troy, how much of this got back to the polk forum...there must be some pissed off polk members lol. -Sinatra "IN the long run, we are all just looking for a better sounding speaker."
  13. Maybe i should sort out some of the things i said.I posted this a while ago and was just checking it now. But I really have no problem with polk (to clear things up) That was my fault, i guess i was just just trying to get in the face of those some people that said klipsch is crap. It sorta offended me in a while. Sorry everyone. -Sinatra
  14. All of those systems are great and fun to play. Hear is the layout. Nintendo Game Cube- Very small and easy to put anywhere. Very good graphics like its competitors. But as it gets old the games will too, nintendo has not come out with a good game since Mario RPG. X-box - This thing is huge, good luck puting it on top of something. The graphics are amazing and eye poping with sound that will make you system scream for more. IN general though it is not a very high selling system, but they do have some great games that might make you buy it. PS2- WOW...I played this many times on surround sound and damn does it sound good. Its not too big, but not really small either. Most of the games that you find on x-box you can find here...and then some. IN my opinion its a system that you will be able to hold on to for a long time. These are my opinions, you should really play all of them for yourself before you go out and spend 300 bucks on a system. -Sinatra
  15. Yo bob thats what happened at first. ON the lest side of the reciever there would be a little blinking light that would say clip. To fix it i lowered the imput. The little clip sign turned off but the static is still loud and clear. -Sinatra
  16. I just bought a bran new Kenwood Sr505 to hook up to my klipsch KG 4.5. If I play a song with a lot of highs i start to hear a crackle that sorta sounds like static. I tried numerous things but it does not change. I think it might be because the speakers are old and the reciever is new, thats my best guess. Please help. -Sinatra ______________________________________________________ "Food,water,sound....Pick two."
  17. I have always woundered who had the first idea/patent for a home speaker. I know that klipsch made its frist home speaker in 1946...but was that the first? I would love to know what company came out with the idea that started what we are all obsessed about today lol. -Sinatra
  18. LOL...thats a very good observation my friend. -Sinatra
  19. Thanx....ithink i will contact them and buy those....I'm way to lazy to do any work. As for the "frank" comment...lol. I am called that all the time. Its is my last name buy the way. Buts its great for getting in resturants, conserts and other events were my name give me some attention. -Sinatra
  20. Yes...thats what i said, you can't compare polk to klipsch...its just not right. I was just wondering why they all treat polk like the god of speakers. They even had the nerve to compare polk to brands like Martin Login, Sunfire and B & W...they are nuts. -Sinatra
  21. Along with this forum I am also apart of the club polk opinion forum. Now when I ever mention a klipsch speaker they all laugh like they never seen a worse speaker in there life. What the hell is up with that. They are always telling me that horns are updated and that klipsch really does not hold a place in todays line of speakers. I think thats total bull too. Can anyone tell me why they have formed suck mad rage against such a historical company. Paul must be turning in his grave to hear crap like that. -Sinatra ______________________________________________________ "Food ,water and sound....Pick two"
  22. Hey everyone! I have had the same pair of Klipsch floor speakers for the past 5 years and don't feel a real need to buy a new pair of anything because the KG 4.5 sound so good that i really don't think its right to spend another $700 on a speaker that does not sound as good. THough it has been through a lot and does need a new grill. The old one is stained with shades of brown and black. On a white grill you can imagine that that looks horrible. So I need to know if i should contact the company and have them send me one, or just go to a place that referbishes speaker. Which one will not kill my wallet? -Sinatra
