If my wife, a huge Spartan basketball fan, would let me, I’d mute Vitale and listen to music. The Spartans are holding their own so far.
And before the punsters attack, my petite wife is a huge fan, not a huge woman.

Get Pfizer #2 two weeks from yesterday (Wednesday).

Spartans play Wolverines tonight in Ann Arbor. Michigan is one of the best teams in the country. The Wolverines are favored by 12. If U of M wins, they are regular season conference champs. If the Spartans win, they are probably in the NCAA tournament.
Irrespective of the results tonight, both team tee it up again on Sunday in East Lansing. It promises to be entertaining.

Austin36 sent me a PM also. I hit the “Report” button.
The PM is quoted below:
“Well if u are still interested in getting TEC TC-778 RIAA I have a friend who can help u with that. Not sure if it’s still available but you can try. Here’s his mail xxxxxxxxxxx@yahoo.com”

Spartans need to beat Wolverines at least once in the next two games before March Madness gets my attention.

Congratulations Baylor. First regular season conference championship in 71 years.

... but every Meijer gas station we went to consistently tested at 0%. - incredible.
I got Pfizer shot #1 at a Meijer store. I hope it wasn’t even 1% bio-diesel.
We have used Meier gas exclusively in our personal and business vehicles for decades for local purchases with excellent results.
FYI our younger son worked at a Meijer gas station. Every morning someone drove around to check out the competitors’ prices.

not meaning to hijack the thread; but I'm also a fan of deep dish pizza.
there was this legendary place in Grand Haven. Lines down the block just to get in -- ordered and went to pick it up. while waiting the server walks by with a pizza that is about as thick as a piece of paper. I figured that was a special order; but no ... that is their pizza. they actually cut it into slices using scissors. Oh yeah, you have to look hard to find any sauce.
The place was called Fricano's. Maybe Neil @DizRotus has heard of it? By the way, anyone traveling through Grand Haven and hungry for a pizza ... The Clover Bar pizza is the best in that town.
Yes Steve, I’ve heard of Fricano’s. It’s as you describe, a very thin crust cut with scissors. It’s greasy with heavy garlic and very little sauce. I LOVE it, but only occasionally. Like pineapple and ham “pizza,” Fricano’s is enjoyable but not my favorite pizza. I also agree with you that Clover Bar has the best traditional pizza in Grand Haven. Deep dish, “Detroit Style” pizza, as made famous by Buddy’s and now sold by Jet’s, Pizza Hut, and others is also delicious.
In other words, I enjoy many variations of “pizza,” but if forced to choose only one to enjoy the rest of my life, it would be Clover Bar. Buddy’s would be second with Fricano’s third. Pineapple and ham, although a pleasant occasional diversion, would not make my list.
Steve you’re correct. Snow, rain or shine, there is always a line of people waiting when the doors open at this tired looking building on the wrong side of town in Grand Haven.

Sad news.

That was a major disappointment. Sparty MUST beat Hoosiers Tuesday and steal a game from Michigan. Winning one against Wolverines is unlikely. Winning both against U of M is not happening.

Down a dozen.

I don’t mind it in the right situations, but it’s not really my first, or second, choice. IMO it’s not really pizza, but pineapple and ham on pizza dough.

Happy Sunday bump.
I’ll gladly trade a mixed batch of the Reg Williamson record cleaner referenced in the thread below.

A victory this afternoon will help Sparty’s NCAA tournament hopes tremendously. We shall see if they’re worthy.

You just need to find a favourite, fairly dynamic, well-recorded tune that you really like but don’t play that often. Whenever your system starts sounding like just another stereo, pop that tune on/in and turn up the volume. Sometimes it’s necessary to remind yourself what your system can do, and why you like it so much better than those ordinary ones.
I agree completely with this. My good system makes bad recordings sound bad, which makes me question the whole journey. A listen to a great recording puts it all back into perspective.

Wait, maybe that is a good thing?

My brother-in-law, in his early 60s, is also too young and “low risk.” He got Covid several months ago playing in a geezer hockey league . . . go figure. He has yet to regain his senses of taste and smell.

I must vigorously disagree. He’s not OK, and he’s annoying constantly.
Even as a Spartan, it is tiresome to hear him constantly ramble on about Izzo, Magic and Kelser. How many times must we be reminded that he has monocular vision and lives in Lakeland Ranch, Florida? The only thing worse would be teaming him with Bill Walton.
Even my wife finally asked me to mute the sound.
