    Yea, no foolin Schu,, A few of us would ride 100-150 a week averaging 15-16 mph...  Then a couple DEDICATED guys joined us and were hitting about 18...  I was like geez, have at it...  cya when I cya...  Loved cranking w/the walkman plugged in,  hit that wall about 6 miles out and just crank right thru it and go.  Probably in the best shape of my life then...  Yea, THEN!  Now?  Not so much...   HAHA!

    Ha, my old LeTour is hangin out in the garage...  I make it out to spin the wheels about once a month and just wonder IF these old bones could crank again like they used to...  lol

    My cousin bought 901's and that amp they made for them in the early 80's.  I was nosing around in this stereo shop and he was talkin to some salesman so naturally I just thought he was asking questions...  Ready to go?  Nope, gonna be a few minutes yet...  Why?  Let's get outta here!  You buy something?  Told me what he bought and I just started laffin...  He got a lil hot so I backed off just a tad...  Still has em hangin from the ceiling in his house.  They're totally shredded and that was a week after he bought them.  BUT...  He's seen what's sitting here now so maybe there's hope...  As in Hope, Ark...  Maybe, just maybe...  Told him once he'd be happy with tin cans and string...  :)

    I was actually suprised to see them fairly close...  Couple hours West on 30 so I'm thinkin it should be a nice Thursday cruise.  I used the "Phone a friend" option and his secretary took care of the ticket dirty work for me.  Row 2 center will work i'm thunkin.  Hopefully this lil good lookin wench/old high school friend from Naples decides to shave her legs and smell delicious.  Just shot her a txt informing her I was kidnapping her for the day.  No reply yet but she'll bite.  They all do when I make a guest appearance somewhere...  HAHAHAHA!!! :)

    THAT sounds like a great plan!  Stumbling around here THUNKIN about coffee now that I'm caught up with the thread here...  Getting stoked for this Tedischi Trucks show the end of May in Ft. Wayne. Vinyl should be here today soooo  :)  Suck it up buttercup and enjoy while you're nosin here.  Time for coffee now!

    Mornin Mike!  Sunny and bright for once here!  Just got the mugga workin too!  Then perhaps i'll be motivated and get something done!  My mailman decided to beat my front door to death a bit ago.  He loves it when I get a new LP!  A rocker about 15 years younger than me...  It's alway's who is it and let's hear it...  lolol

    Read, read and more reading Elden.  Things are making sense and becoming more clear. There's just so much out there today.  That slippery slope is real...  Years ago, it was all Mcintosh/Klipsch for the most part.  Today?  Ugh!  Things today are disposable, which imo isn't the way to go.  Yet, that is what drives today's economy/businesses.  It was always nice to be able to go to your "man" and know things were right when you took them back home.  Today, dumpster!  The marriage made in heaven was always Klipsch/Mcintosh, with a smattering of others, until the Pac Rim countries entered the market.  You weren't "IN" until you had something solid state made there.  Afterall, you got your arm broken if you even peeked in the back of the TV and got caught!  "Don't you EVER get into things back there.  You want to die?"  Sure they had some tube stuff but who wanted something like that?   Today, with so much out there, you really can't find fault w/anyone's selection of components. It's all in what you truly hear today, just as it was back then.  My take on it anyway...  :)

    My thoughts too billybob...  :)  Next move is tubes fpr both systems.  Please don't go there yet cause I feel like I have one foot nailed down and I'm spinning in circles.    Kinda like a woman buying shoes while you have to stand there and wait.  lol  She wants to go into WNBA contractual  stuff since most women make less than $100k a year playing.

    My youngest saw my LS and said in a txt, "I WANT" so the Heresy will sit on top and I'll tell her she can have the ones she thinks sound best.  Then again, maybe I'll just keep them.  She has yet to go thru my intensive 2-channel course on WHAT to listen to and how LOUD things have to be to truly HEAR things.  Law school next?  Ugh...

    Hmmmm, I start my day with the bad coffee maker,  see Mike with another classic video post, hear about Rodney's butt imprint in his chair, wondering who is watching Rodney's butt and why, claw on the tongue, guy who owns a bar who's wife has banned him and won't ride on his bike and now Willy Bob is in a sarong???  Da*n...  I'm in the right place I'm thinkin!  On a positive note though I'm picking up a nice pair of Heresy1's tomorrow...  Will ya make it without me???  lolol
