That's good to know.  You have to be a BIT more sane than she was then.  ALWAYS Schweppe's tonic & a twist.  All day, all nite Mary Ann.  Sporadic, Heady and super intelligent not to mention gorgeous.  Teaching high school art?  Reduced to the lil old lady that lived in a shoe.  Glad it wasn't me.  I'd have a double-frontal lobotomy by now.

That's what Scotch does to ya!😂

I've been on the dark side of that Bottle ☠️, not a pretty site! Like I always say- ''NEVER GIVE GUNS TO THE INDIANS''

@MeloManiac you've got it made.  I'm sitting here looking at a stack of about 15 lp's and a box set I haven't even unzipped yet.  Then 5 8-inch piles to put away.  I'm done when I put those away and I think that's why I haven't put them away yet.  I don't want the reality to set in when I realize I have no room.  I'm done, but there HAS to be some space somewhere.  I've gotta think on this one.  Might have to sell some but that's doubtful.

I gotta admit, when I got my new receiver well over a year ago I never hooked my turntable up to it.  My previous receiver had a dedicated phono input and my new one doesn’t.

But, my turntable has a phono/line switch to connect to a receiver even if doesn’t have a phono input.

So, just a little bit ago I decided to connect everything up and spin a record.  I had left a Huey Lewis record in it when I removed it and am glad I finally hooked it up.  I think I’ll be listening for quite a while today.

    Go to LP! Daves Fav.
