Hard for me to english what something sounds like. Can't wait for you to hear them. The imaging and soundstage was as good as it gets. The two way was cohesive. The bass was full and detailed. Roy took down the distortion a few notches so with that all the benefits. Gotta hear it to believe. Like describing a sunset to a blind person.

Gotch, I know its hard to explain, I do appreciate your thoughts, thanks

It's hard to describe without just using a string of superlatives but I'll try.  I was expecting improvement of the Heritage Jubilee over the Underground Jubilee especially in the very high and very low frequencies based on the specs, but I was not expecting the improvement over the entire frequency range to be so dramatic. The Heritage Jubilee sound much smoother and more integrated over the whole range. Also, this is a really true full range low speaker. That 18Hz bottom end spec is no lie. No subwoofer needed with these. When Roy played some synth track with super low notes I though my ears were going to pop. One thing that also surprised me is that the apparent acoustic center of the speaker is now just about centered at the split between the horns instead of up at the height of the middle of the K-402 HF horn where the image would often times would be with the Underground Jubilee.  The imaging capabilities are amazing and the area of good stereo imaging is super wide.  You can basically get just about to the edge of the horn coverage without appreciable change to the sound character or soundstage.  It was truly the most life-like reproduction I've ever heard.
Superb, that's what I wanted to hear, coherence and no need for subs,

How was the overall tone of instruments and vocals

3. Is there a Klipsch dealer in NZ? They are supposed to orderable through authorized dealers. Perhaps fellow kiwi Ziggurat knows or can help.
Yes Rapallo AV are authorised heritage dealers

4. Ok, so the Land of Oz is going to get two pair.  Of every single person who lives there, you are going to be one of two people.  How cool is that?!!!  You'll sort of be 50% of the Jubilee Cartel!!

I've never heard these but agree they're going to sound good.  They will (with no disrespect meant) perhaps make your LaScalas sound more like a pair of toy speakers.  (I'm not bashing on the LaScalas, I've owned a pair since 1979 so have heard them side by side.....in my opinion, it's simply reality)

Lol yes indeed, jubilee mafia,

Everyone who owns Jubes says they are the best speaker they have ever heard or owned so very excited

also we are in New Zealand, we are Kiwi's, Oz is Australia [emoji6], different country hehe

5. Side comment, do we presume this means you're buying a pair without ever having heard them?
Correct, love my LSII's so can imagine the Jubilee's will sound even better,

And I trust Roy!

So after 2 years I finally, with the wife's permission was allowed to move the La Scala's into the lounge, previously they were in a smaller room

And wow what a difference, haven't told her the real reason for the move was that I have the new Jubilee's on order and they definitely wouldn't fit in the old room lol

Here are a few pics of the room

I'm running a fully active system with DaveA horn lens, Chris A originally helped me dial the crossovers in for the old room

In this room Zach and Aaron from A-Z tuning dialed them in using REW remotely and dialled in the 2 x SB-2000 Pros

Would never have teken the steps to go active without the advice amd help from alot of guys on this forum and now the next step Jubiiiiiileeees yeah baby!

10. Just ordered 4 quad sets of these, damn the Primaluna dialogue hp power amplifiers needed 16 of these tubes

I'm hoping they will be a huge improvement over the standard PL EL34's702051664_images(3)(31).jpeg.3c9c055cb11910d042c6c4a7b50d810e.jpeg
