    And how do they SOUND???
    Straight out of the box they were very very impressive

    Im in the showroom tomorrow so will listen again esspecially as they have now had about 60hrs on them so things should be even better

    As in flexible? I wondered what it was because it shows the same bend types as actual made from wire cloth. I have some here with a 1/2 inch pattern and have wondered what it would look like as grille material.
    You maybe right, I will examine properly when I go back to the store and also will take pictures of the insides for those that are interested [emoji16]

    If you read the quote from B&C they tell you that phase plugs are there in all those drivers. They are meant to be used in different horns so the phase plug has to be an integral part of the driver and not the horn. This thing Klipsch has made can only work with itself so they could put the phase plug on the horn lens or the driver and chose to put it on the horn lens. This K-77 is the strange one here compared to most drivers on the market so don't get hung up on the idea that this K-77 is the only way or the best way because most drivers are not made like this.

    Sorry im new to lens and drivers etc,

    So if the la scala II has the phase plug moulded into the horn lens of the tweeter as in the photo i posted before and your lens does not, then how would the phase plug be incorporated

    Or does your lens not require the phase plug

    Sorry for the stupid questions

    Ok so how does DaveA horn lens as below replace the LSII's horn lens as below when the phase plug is part of the horn lens itself unless what i think is the phase plug in fact is not

    It's fine, I have just seen people upgrade their horn mouths and these dont have the phase plug

    So was Just wondering if it was essential or just protection for the diaphragm

    Im just curious thats all [emoji6]

    I think the proof will be in the pudding lol as we know the implementation of the dac is key and alot of relative non pro dacs can be exceptional if combined with other matched components and betrer signal paths

    We will have to wait and see

    Have already tried the LX500 and its the same visually as the 203 couldnt see any difference

    But using as a cd player the sound was excellent
