Got them home, hooked them up to my own amp and the bass horn sound fine now. Upon further inspection I found a tweeter was replaced with a cheep $20 one from eBay that doesn’t fit properly. Guess I’ll give Bob a call for a new one. Totally different sound than my fortes, glad I bought them. Going to rotate them every month or so. Overall extremely happy with the purchase and price. Incredible how efficient they are, can’t even go past 12 o’clock on a 10w amp.

Too funny... I bought them haha! Finally found a decent deal down here and had to jump. One of the woofers sounds funny though. Not clean and snappy, a little distorted sounding. Any idea what it could be?

Anybody bringing La Scala’s or Belle’s to the party?

You know I am seriously considering it. What I really want is a pair of La Scala or Belle’s. (Don’t know if the Cornwall will be that big of a step up compared to my fortes). If I saw a halfway decent deal on either of those I would definitely make the trip. As for dfw... saw a deal pop up on La Scala’s at 10pm. Was supposed to go see them at 10am the next day... already gone! I expect to see them pop back up for double the price shortly 😐

Wish these were in DFW, I’d pick them up! Theyre going for $1200+ down here and I just can’t justify spending that much. Seems like everything is marked up down here.
