  1. A young Israeli soldier at the Ben Gurion memorial site.  Ben Gurion was Israel's first prime minister.  He is considered by many to be a modern day prophet.  I intend on reading up on him soon.  This soldier is trying to mimic Ben's hair which was white on the edges and bald on top.  I'm sure that doesn't describe anyone in this group too ;)  It did not escape my attention where the barrel from his gun was pointed.

  2. View of Tel Aviv from Jaffa.  Somewhere along these shores Jonah took a boat to run away from God.  There are three major biblical events in Jaffa and two of them relate to salvation for the gentiles.  I hadn't made that connection until after visiting the sites and rereading the related sections of the bible.

  3. There was a plan in congress to allow for people buy into Medicare early, but it didn’t go far.

I have heard there are penalties if you don’t have adequate insurance prior to Medicare.

I’m a decade away from potentially retiring early and medical insurance may make work longer than otherwise needed. That stinks.

Congrats on the sale too cause I know selling a "large" heritage single can be tough...

Not a member to my knowledge. It took exactly 1 day to sell it lol

Cool, pretty happy over here too. I finished up my Chorus project (build thread in Mod forum) loving them too & glad my "firstborns" went to a good home 😃

I’ll check them out. I sold one the La Scalas as I just needed a center between the two of mine. Technically yours went to two good homes 😁

Speaking of your HT, how'd those La Scala's work out?

    Dave

They work great. I have been trying some different components here and there, but no complaints from me.

very nice speakers and a good price.

It drives me nuts however to see that the efficiency is stated as 104 db. This is false. Just try to remember that the lowest efficiency driver in a system will set the system efficiency. This is always the woofer in a system with a dynamic woofer. It is physically impossible for a fifteen inch woofer to be 104 db efficient, 99db is the theoretical max. When you see ratings higher than this what you are seeing is simply a resonance generating a peak that is all or you are reading a flat out lie.

In fairness, Bob Crites states that they are 104db efficient on his site.
