  1. Obviously.  Come on.   I can't let this opportunity pass me by. This ia the first time I have ever received an email this genuine from someone so generous. It would be Un-American not to accept.

Post up the replies, Also ask him if he would accept any referrals perhaps put in a good word for me .
I’m also interested in speaking to this honest kind person.

  2. "Answered by the admin The RF-7 SI woofer is no longer available. You can use this VII woofer but you must modify the cabinet to fit the new woofer. The black material you describe is the dustcover. This speaker has a dustcover it is just inverted and matches the cone. The color of the dustcap will not noticably affect the sound. If you are concerned with the cosmetics we can add a black dustcap to this woofer but I would need to know the size and material required. We might or might not have a suitable dustcover. If we do not, you can always replace both woofers so you have a matched pair."

You mention modify cabinet ? How would you do that ? Does anyone have a guide which might show router technique?

  3. I can only imagine how EPIC that must sound! Is this only for music or do you have a home theater set up somewhere there as well?

We also love music , my G/F love it as much as I do.

G/F said every-time we add subs the house next door goes down in property value. Lol.

  5. Need some good advice...looking to upgrade my theater from the R-820F's that are in the L&R spots.

I know the 8000's are very good speakers. Are the RF-7III's enough better to justify spending an extra $2400?

Has anyone here done a side-by-side comparison of these?

I went from RF800 To RF7I front and back which I end up with a pretty good deal . I also added 4 X 18” subs.

I have 17x24 room sounds amazing and love the RF7 .

No regrets what so ever , I use Rotel
Mono amps to run the fronts.

  6. I purchased 4 RP500SAs when i was living in a loft apartment with 12 foot ceilings earlier this year.
As luck would have it almost right after putting them up we closed on a condo!
I've moved and am building a dedicated theater in the basement with shorter ceilings so looking to use in-wall for the tops now since i no longer have the high ceilings anymore.

Looking to sell these 4 or trade for in-ceiling.

Ideally pickup in the Boston area but can ship if i have to.

    Fair offers please.

  7. Greetings folks,

I still have a pair of RS-7 speakers; due to my own lack of diligence, I didn’t stay on top of the last offer to purchase these, and the deal fell through. I never relisted and here they sit.

They were never wall mounted, and are in good shape. There are some scuffs and a corner dented a bit, but the screens are perfect, and they work well. I also have the original boxes they came in, though I will need to reinforce them, as the original packing was lacking. I can send detailed photos if you are interested.

I am asking $400 for the pair, would prefer pickup at or around Knoxville, Tennessee...but I probably would be willing to drive a piece to see them handed off to a fellow enthusiast.

Please let me know if you have questions and thanks for looking.

  8. I was born and raised in Harbor Beach. Frequented Birchwood Mall a lot in the early 90s, visited it last year and was shocked by what it has become. I loved going to Full Moon Records, Camelot Music and Taurus Comics. Those places along with the mall are where all my money went as a teenager.

    Beautiful place this way .

  10. I am trying to learn about Auro 3D speaker set up .

Currently I have Atmos set up with 4 in ceiling speakers

I have the marantz SR7011, I’ll be using AiM in ceiling speakers.

My ceiling isn’t the easiest to access so running wires if very difficult based on finished ceiling but with lots labour work can be done.

I am learning about all different types of speaker placement however I am limited to how many and wire running

If I was to install 4 more in ceiling 2 above the front mains and 2 more above side surrounds.

How would it sound compared to Atmos perhaps those who have this set up .

Is a fair amount of work and investment .

I have RF 7 all around and Aim in the ceilings now. Sounds amazing however wondering what auro3D is all about .
