I got my notification as it was happening... my /our 50th, too seeing pics of folks, I didn't know or remember, wearing nice duds... When I met the new principal for the wife's school... wife described my dress as unconventional...LOL they're prolly lucky I didn't show...

we got old... the memory is better "Hey baby" to a 68yr old? LOL not saying there aren't some nice looking older gals... I'm married to one...

I'm with you... I didn't have a lot of friends... but, we stayed close. No need for a reunion

oh... I'm getting posts [fb] about an upcoming class reunion... .... and sharp dressed men things they are so not ready for me.... not that I plan on attending....

our vet and family have been asking me to come to church. Their son-in-law is the pastor.... a Baptist church. a couple weeks ago, wife went to a prayer meeting [a side shoot of the crap you don't want to know about]... I dropped her off at the meeting and had come back to pick her up. Figuring the meeting was over and fellowship was happening, I went in to let her know I was there. Well, the meeting wasn't over and I was ushered into the chapel for the end of the meeting ... in my sarong. my guess is that word got around of it. The other day, I went into the store. The boss was tending the cash register... he greeted me with "The legend is here"...

Oh... our cats have ear mites. We have the remedy from the vet ... 0.1ml ivermectin in each ear. I had to chuckle. Guess the cats won't catch something from me. we get some really good lightning shows. These storms are small, compared to the midwest's black wall of death. Not saying they aren't violent... just small. There is some space between the cells.

Tucson broke its over 100` streak at 53 days in a row. Big whoop. It will be back to 100` tomorrow we got a smattering of rain. Enough to drop temps into the comfort range [before 4 AM]. I've been kinda quiet lately because... well, you don't wanna know. I am going to make a Dr appt, just to vent. Oh I'm OK, give or take possible c19.

I won't tell you that I'm at 127db with 40% volume on the H/K.

rain???? what is that? it is a little cooler today. Only 98`. Tucson racks up another day over 100`.

it's 85` and only 9:30AM. I set the A/C, in the doghouse, to 87` and it feels GOOD. this summer has been brutal. Yeah Yeah... ya git that when you live in a desert....the previous record for # of days over 100`, in a row, was 39. We're on 50. Even on the odd day/s that it did rain, it was still over 100` before the rain. I predicted a long , hot, dry summer... sometimes being right is no fun.

High temp in Tucson has not been under 100`F [or C, feel about the same] since June 16

We're still having bad weather, too. More 100`+ and no rain to speak of. We have had an inch or so , since June. My tomatoes have taken a beating. The hail took care of any fruits that were near ripe. Just another day here. I don't see anything. I don't hear anything. I don't know anything.

He got caged and sent for a "Nip and tuck"... lol that's the price for free room and board. -------------------- was watching a vulture the other day. It was swirling around. Reminded me of the way A-10's fly.... except their motto is more that poster of the vultures in the tree "Patience my a$$. I'm gonna kill something"

Hit around 100`. Clouded up. Rained and hailed -- enough to cover the ground - with dime size. Temp dropped to 60`. We got about 1 inch of precip. it's back up to 75` and quite comfortable. Sun is setting under the clouds, lighting up the sky with a classic AZ sunset. the rain brought up the toads. It's gonna be like a night in the swamp. They will be/are singing

my niece lives in Charlotte and my sister in Gibsonville.... 40 days over 100` in a row in Tucson... and the hits keep coming. They think it might stop Friday with a 99. I'm not one to complain ... but, this is getting tired.

well... Bayer/Monsanto One makes nasty seeds and the other sells a remedy, so you can continue to eat the nasty food grown from those seeds...

what are you doing in IN? Visiting relatives? IN is not the vacation hotspot of the country ... though I have been seeing ads for IL as being "In the middle of everything"...

all I could get from google was the oxygen is O2..and something about electrolytes... I know oxygen , in its "normal state is O2. If you split a single molecule, where does the other oxygen atom come from?

Can'r say I've seen kids eat Elmer's ... I do remember seeing school paste being eaten. you let refried beans get dry? If they're in a pan, you need to cook them off. I used to work in a restaurant. I was a "dishwasher".. ran the salad bar, made garnishes .... assisted the cook/s a nerdy question.. I haven't googled When you do electrolisys of water, you get hydrogen and oxygen. Because water is H2O... does the oxygen come off as O1 or what?

is that a burrito? If so... those tortillas look a little iffy. Wrap it in paper and peel it back as you eat... I melt cheese on the tortilla. Then roll the contents up in it. The cheese glues it together. for bean burritos, I kinda eat them like a tube of toothpaste. Squeeze the beans out the top ... and hope the tortilla doesn't burst. Then you are licking beans off your hand.
