ACH JA ...I couldn't say NO again , since today I have my NoS Entré 1 MC in operation.

Originally manufactured by Soltear Acoustics Inc. Japan. The Lentek Entré 1 MC was designed by Mr. Matsudaira, who began his career as a designer at Tokyo Sound Co. in 1959. For ten years he worked for NHK (Japanese National Broadcast) where he designed tonearms and cartridges. In 1967 he moved to SUPEX as chief designer. From 1970 to the late 1990s, he worked as a senior designer for many famous brands, including Entré, Miyabi, Kouetsu, Audio Craft and Air Tight. In 2003, he founded his own company My Sonic Lab in Japan.

    Technical specifications:

    • Frequency Response: 10 Hz – 50.000 Hz
    • Output Voltage: 0,2 mV (3.54cm/s, 1000 Hz, 45 degree)
    • Channel Balance: within 1 db (1000 Hz)
    • Channel Separation: better than 28 db (1000 Hz)
    • Compliance: 10 x 10-6cm/dyne
    • Impedance: 3.0 ohms
    • Recommended Load Resistance: 100 ohms
    • Tracking Force: 1.8 grams + 0.3 grams
    • Vertical Tracking: 20 Degree
    • Stylus: diamond Elliptical, with a radius of 0.3 mil x 0.8 mil
    • Mass: 5.8 grams
    • Mounting: ½” or 12.7 mm

Runs on 100 Ohm Load & 74 dB amplification, sounds simply enchanting!

Should have the Realtek/Schiit/Voshkod/Klipsch/SVS rig up and running by the end of next week. If win11 lets me use it. Sure the version form 6/23 has expired by now.

Win 10 will besupported til end of 2025 and of course the Initial problems from Win 11 were largely "corrected".

And good that it is. Days after Christmas can be awful for just going to the grocery store on the corner. I've got the opposite going on lined up with the deal for a truck. I'm driving the 400 mile round trip to get my stuff out of the storage bin next Tuesday loading it driving back and unloading it. I got the truck for 2 days. In case it takes me longer than expected, they'll refund me if I get it back early. That's right nice of 'em!

I do remember something simmilar in the 1990 tess, I moved into a new flat and spent all days before christmas till after new year with renovation works in the new apartment. But it doesn´t scared me at all , I had fun !

  6. I´m back @home since half an hour , it´s 10 10 .pm here , the weather at the german north sea beaches wasn´t that good , 39 F and strong rough winds, was rainig the hole time during the ride, so it took close to 4 hours till we arrived in the city called NORDEN ( North )

We made a city sightseeing first and saw beautiful old buildings from the middle ages in the city centre

than we discovered a nice looking restaurant , we went in and had lunch together , it was excellent in quality, service and price

than we drove to the beaches , it was low tide

finally we ate some fresh fish from the north sea and I took some back home

We left at approx 4.30 pm and arrived at 9. 30 pm back in our hometown , the ride back was a trip trough rain and darkness, it was a quiet exhausting way back home ...I´m tired now ....see you

Then I can plan this little bitty den around my Forte IIIs plus one or two good subs.

Have fun with them , sure your living room is big enough to be changed into a soundwaves high pressure compression chamber  🤣

Because my listening room isn´t that big as the old one I had to rethink about my RF7 Evos , 4 active parallel switched 10" woofer were to much , the mids , hights and brilliance weren´t that clear as before because of too much bassvolume, I made an experiment with 2 active 10" and 2 passive 10" ( they only resonate in the low frequency level due to the air mass flow of the active 10" ) and I closed the above rear fire port and kept the second open.

Man I can tell you , now the bassvolume is under control , very cleanly staggered and the above soundstage is as good as it was in my old bigger listening room , sometimes.....less is more   😁

Will be a long day for me , at 9.am , so in 2 hours and 18 minutes , I´m driving to the german north sea beaches with my car for eating some fresh fish there 😂I´m not kidding ....will be a three and a half hour drive and I will be guided by two female friends ....we´ll  return late evinging ..sure it will be a nice day , will take some pics as will and gonna show you tomorrow

Talk about quiet, it is so quiet up here that I'm pretty sure what I'm hearing is my tinnitus :huh2:

If I´m under stress it happens sometimes that I have a high frequency noise in my left ear , when I come down it disappears . In any case it´s better to have a tinnitus from time to time instead of have a gost voice talking to you the hole day through , if this is the case .....it becomes dangerous 😂

Hey George, I didn't get it yet. Didn't feel like driving the 45 minutes into town. I'm so far out in the sticks that it is 10 miles to a Wally World! And I'd bet that's further away than for 85% of this country! Oh and I got to find a shower curtain before I get my stuff up here next week very glad that there's ceramic tile in the bath.

Talk about quiet, it is so quiet up here that I'm pretty sure what I'm hearing is my tinnitus :huh2:

Now you´re driving an ACURA and a 45 minute drive is too far for you ? Remember how many miles you´ve driven w/in the last few month , I suppose a couple of thousands....Where I´m living right now it´s absolute quiet as well , even it´s a side road and the city center is just less 15 Minutes by car.

I'd say there's a big difference in the styles of music. Those two guys above make!

Indeed Indeed JJ . Collins Live Album was mastered perfectly and it´s easy listening pop , the Sting Live Album sound excellent as well and has a lot of Rock & Jazz Influence , you have to listen to it once.

And today I have educated myself about leaf blowers. I got one that can blow 170 mph and I thought jeeze cat five that'll work! Wrong. It's flat out not good enough. I INot enough when you're in a forest. I'll clean it up, take it back and get one that does 250 mph.

I see that you had fun with the stronger one

You may be interested in this album if you don’t already have it

But have a listen to the whole album on your favourite platform first, as it may not be to your taste

I just can’t find my copy but I remember buying it when it was first released

So I was looking to replace it

    Richard Wright - Wet Dreams

Got it since january 17th. 1979
