  1. What i have is a Pioneer dvd player. It does not have 5.1 digital decoder built in. But It does have the Stereo RCA connections on the back. And if i plug the 2 plugs from the 4.1's into the dvd player, I only get sound from one main speaker and the one surround. So I want to know how do I connect it so I get sound from all 4 speakers. Simple, thats it, thats all i want to know
  2. im reading this Justin, and I have only one of those mini gold plated couplers at the moment. I have two of those stereo RCA to 1/8 plug. So now what do I do? how do I connect all this up to my stereo out on my dvd player?
  3. If someone can post a picture of how they have done it, or an easy to read diagram, that would be great.
  4. Hey there everyone. Well I just got my new 4.1's and mine work just fine. Infact I had a pair of 2.1's which I took in for repair and they couldnt fix them so they gave me the 4.1's instead!! Yes Im very happy thanks Anyway my question is I have a Pioneer dv-344 dvd player, and am trying to figure out how to get all 4 speakers working from the 2 RCA outputs. The only way I have got them all to work is get a Y adaptor from the dvd player that has a 1/8 plug at the end, and then plug the green plug into that, and then take the purple plug and plug that into the earphone socket. if i plug both green and purple using RCA adaptors i only get sound from 2 speakers, one surround and one main. So can someone suggest how I do this, with out a decoder!? Thanks
  5. I didnt know what to put in the topic, but what i have is the 4.1's and i want to get all 4 speakers working, but I want to know how to get them all working by plugging them into RCA outputs that are just left and right.
  6. I was think would it be possible, well it would be, but how well would it go if you brought 3 KLF C-7's used them as mains, and have the KSP-S6's are your rear's, but one, or even 2 KSW-15's, thus giving you a sort of THX style sound system?? Tell me would this work? Has anyone tried or done this?
  7. The question I think you should ask your self is "I'm I an idiot for buying a Yamaha DSP-1A and not something like a Marantz SR-18, or 19 or 14!?" I say take your Yamaha DSP-1A back, or ask your local deal if you can try a Marantz SR-18 hooked up to your sound system for a day and I bet you, that you'll want to keep it!!!???
  8. Can anyone tell me anything about the new line in klipsch speakers. I saw the picture of what kind of looked like RF-3's but in a wood grain finish. And same with what looked like a RC-3, and what looked like what I've heard to be a RSW-15, can anyone at klipsch give me details on where to find info??
  9. This is my sound system, it's not Klipsch, it's an Australian brand, Krix. The mains are the Euphonix, and the rear's are Equinox's. I don't have a centre or subwoofer, yet. I use a Marantz SR-96, Marantz DP-870 and Millennium dts decoder, a pioneer 414 dvd player. I'm seriously thinking about changing the speakers for the Klipsch RF-3's and then add the RS-3's and RC-3, and then I'll wait for the RSW-15 to see what it's like if it's good, I'll take it, if not I'll go with the Velodyne CT-150.
  10. You might want to click on "News Center" Click on Articles, and read about the Robb brothers! And you'll find out! Oh and yes Robb does come from the rob roy mcgregore clan!!
  11. As the topic says! I too am a Robb, Daniel Robb to be exact! I live in Melbourne Australia. It's from my Dad's side, his mum is Polish, his step dad who's surename he got is from england. So who knows?!??! Do family (if family) get family discounts??? I own Krix Euphonix, Krix Equinox, but would love Klipsch RF-3, RC-3, RS-3 and a KSW-15!
