2 pairs, a pair of khorns and a pair of lascalas, i am truly blessed.[]

Simple but still trying to upgrade to a tube amp.

RMAUSTIN,I JUST COMPLETED THE REBUILD ON MY 1971 KHORNS AND I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW GOOD THEY SOUND.I THOUGHT MY LASCALAS WERE AWESOME, BUT THE HORNS AND THE MARANTZ 2230 THAT I JUST PURCHASED REALLY IMPRESSED ME,I HOPE YOU GET YOUR HORNS,YOU WON'T REGRET IT.

i'm almost done with my khorn rebuild,can anyone post some pics on the ( tail piece seals)that is suppose to improve the bass output?

Hay guys thanks for the info, tom & wrench i'll let you know in about 3 weeks about the tweeters, i'm thinking of picking up a vintage marantz 22 series on ebay first, read a lot about them,what do you think? good enough for heritage series?i also have a pair of la scalas that i bought new back in 88 or 89,i'll take some pics of both pairs and try and post ,thanks again.

i.m in the proccess of rebuilding a pair of khorns that i picked up about a year ago,the only part that was in it was the type AA crossover,serial numbers are 3J365 & 3J366,can anyone tell me the year they were made and which tweeters, mids and woofers would work with these crossovers or would it be best to replace them,and will the k400 horns from klipsch would mount to the grill,any help would be greatly appriciated,thank you.

thanks for the advice, i forgot to mention that i need all the speakers the horns to rebuild the klipschorns,and the cabinets will need to be repaired & refinished,also the piece at the bottom (kick pannel) i think thats what it's called needs to be replaced,i bought my la scala's new about 12 years ago and are in almost perfect condition,i'll try and post some pics of both pairs,thanks again.

just wanted to know how much a pair of pristine "empty" black lascala cabinet could sell for,i'm thinking of using the "speakers only" to rebuild a pair of empty klipschhorn cabinets that i acquired,can anyone tell me if this is okay to do? please help, thanks,l.bamba
