  1. OSUMBB tonight @ 9 on FS1.  Maryland WILL give 'em a run.  Coach Holtman has certainly turned them around from the beginning of the season.  He totally focused on 3-ballers and still does but they better be able to play inside too.  They listen they'll do nothing but get better I think.  He's got two stellar recruits ready for next year.  Ballers ball!

  2. Me:  Singing along w/the halftime show?

    Youngest in Phoenix:  LMAO  100%

Youngest in Phoenix:  This is the guy we saw when we jumped the fences in Coachella

    Me:  Lame!

Me:  Sorry I told you to jump the fence.  It's on me.  Won't happen again.  hahahaha

    Youngest in Phoenix:  LMAO

Youngest in Phoenix:  I'll never forget it!

Me:  Well I'm glad it's something you'll never forget and had a great week there.

Me:  Just glad you got to go and it worked.

Me:  Just an FYI.  The half-time show was not shown in AU.

Youngest in Phoenix:  I'm drunk Dad lol

Me:  Good.  Get someone to take you home.

Youngest in Phoenix:  Got a ride.

Me:  Joe Burrow tweet -  Why did the Chiefs put the Bengals O-line out there?

    Youngest in Phoenix:  🤣

Chip off the old block me thinks.  :)

The absolute WORST half-time show I've ever seen.

They KILLED it!  Amazing logistics to pull it all off!  :)

  3. Just kinda hangin out today.  It worked for me!

John Mayall huddled up w/some stellar friends back in 2001 releasing this.  Got lucky and snagged this remaster.  Some good stuff right here!

Also picked up this limited edition of Joe Live.  #1715 of 2500 so the stamp says but...  Great 1990 release either way!

Following the hit movie track "The End" from "Apocalypse Now" the Doors followed up with this their "Greatest Hits" lp in 1980.  Some good stuff to make your ears smile.  :)

  4. Gary Moore was another incredible one.  Sooooo many great ones have transitioned to the other side.  The memories though?  They'll ALWAYS be with you.  Now what about Keef?  I'm hangin with him!  😂  😎

  5. E Street Band?  Ya can't even mention Springstreen w/o thinking about his E Street Band and how that magical fit just happened with them all..  The big guy @ 6'5 always took command when he walked out on stage w/his tenor sax.  Every time you saw Clarence Clemons you knew he could take you down.  It was a given w/Springsteen's following. From the first night walking into an all white club and "telling" Bruce he wanted to sit in and getting the nod, to his death, Clemons WAS the man.  From jazz n blues to rock?  Yea, he killed it.  RIP Clarence Clemons.

  6. Nils is Nils.  The future backbone, replacing Stevie Van Zandt, of the E Street Band, had some solo tours and did 50 years of session work for so many artists.  Doing flips off mini tramps without missing a lick and leaving the crowd spell bound, couple new hips, shoulder work from gymnastics when he was younger he's still going.  Musta been that accordion his parents had him play as a kid.  Great song for kids to live by IF you can get them to listen to him.  Yea, "the whole world is mad!"

  7. Have had these since they first came out.  Almost pitched them several times over the years but for some reason hung onto them.  A real pain to wire up just to check them out but someday I might just have to check them out.  They did sound great years ago but rarely used them since I was running Infinity RS 2.5's.  Now I have a pair of Sennheiser HD-650 I occasionally use w/a Schiit headphone amp and junk CD player.  hahaha

I'll go to the trouble of wiring them up and watch the unit go up in smoke when I hit the GO button.  hahaha  Can't see the lime green paint on the back of the bracket can ya?  A sign of the times!  :)

  8. Kinda just hanging while listening and not posting too much.  Cranked out some Queen the other day, which worked to sooth the beast.  Then last night my buddy decided to stop so had to step my game up just a bit.  Love sitting back and watching his nonchalant reactions.  First the foot starts tappin then his head and neck start to twitch, finally it's the death quiver!  THEN he pops the question!  Who was that?  hahahahaha

Hit him HARD w/the first lp.  hahaha  Lil John Mayall and his "No Turning Back" is just like most.  First side slow and easy and side 2 reels 'em in.  Kinda like fishin.  They ALWAYS or most times swallow the hook.  From 69 after the break up of the Bluesbreakers in 68.  Do some research and see if ya know anyone other than EC who was in the Bluesbreakers.  Talk about a line-up?   This is from Bill Graham's Fillmore East and Mayall decided to drop the heavy guitar AND drums.  Funny he was gettin his jam on midway thru side 2 before he realized there were no drums in the LP.  hahahaha  GOTCHA!  Fantastic lp if you can find it.  :)

    IMG-20210201-185210057.jpg

Next up a lil EC just for giggles and to let him listen and slow his heart rate down while he caught his breath!  lolol

    Eric_Clapton_-_Uplugged.jpg

Then right back up there while I kinda smirked inside!

    rory_gallagher_-_live.jpg

Finished him off with this one!

    JJ_Cale_-_Trubadour__72_remaster.jpg

He had to ask who it was Ahhhhhgain!  lol

He's a great guy and a good friend.  He does a nice job on his guitar w/the guys on jam night.  I just love workin on him though.  Loves to play his head bangin rock loud n proud ALL the time.  A real Jeff Healey kinda guy.  On the stage lookin at the crowd thru a chicken wire screen while he plays.

I agree.  Especially if Vitale is involved.  My definition of Hell is being forced to listen to a game with Dick Vitale and Bill Walton yammering away.

Awwww come on Neil.  Show him some love.  Dick is legendary!  Watched him hit 78 free throws before a game once @ OSU.  EVERYone inside early was counting them.  He's a good guy and knows hoops.  Just his style doing color work. Walton?  Now he's a piece of work!  😂

  10. Grands are gone and had to regain part of my sanity last evening.  Cranked the LS for about 5 hours and I was good to go!  Woke up to a couple inches of crusty snow, looks like 20-30's all week here so the heck with it!  Coffee is on and I'm thinking about a playlist for today.  Might have to watch some hoops this afternoon with no sound.  Just gimme the tunes I know what's happening in the ball game.   hahaha

  11. Yea, bowling is crazy now.  All the lanes have bumpers installed ya just hook and pull up, no scorekeeping since it's all automatic.  Just throw the ball and it posts automatically.  They both know enough to stay outta the ball return so no worries there.  This guy the oldest lives with IS a bowler  He's 6'3 and just lays them down and walks away.  The other nite in a league he rolled another 300.  Think that it's 23 or 24 now.  He's bowling outta town today and she wanted to go with him so it works for me.  Back to normal around here this evening if I'm lucky.  lol

  12. Got the grands last night and I'm grounded til after lunch then I'm taking them bowling.  Pizza last nite and bowling today $50.  That's AFTER I make breakfast.  Sausage, choc chip pancakes w/strawberries and whipped cream.  I'm sure that's not happening until after I get some coffee down.  In the meantime it's Nicktunes and constant bickering between the two while they sit and play their electronics, which drive me insane.  Yea, it'll sort at some point after I fish a charge cord out from under the couch.  😂

  13. Thinking I was about 29 when that blizzard hit.  It sure was cold though!

@grasshopper better be nice to her!  I lucked out today and got to schedule my covid vac for next Wednesday.  So now we have the African version to deal with too and "they" are saying we might have to take a booster shot for that too?  Ok, one Wednesday, another after that then a booster?  No problemo!  What's your Doc's name again?  😂
