I know you didn’t ask me, but I’ve owned two different EL84 amps and both were excellent. A Music Reference RM10 II and an Aric Audio custom. I have also had many EL34 amps, also which were good. But if you don’t need the extra power, there is something special about the EL84 tube. That would be my choice.
Even over a 300B amp?

El84’s are magic, it’s the one tube amp you should try. https://www.stereophile.com/content/luxman-sq-n150-integrated-amplifier
This integrated amp has no digital inputs, so it wouldn't work for me unless I purchased their CD player. I don't use CDs. Thanks for the tip.

Have you considered getting the new Klipsch Jubilee speakers? That could be a big upgrade in the sound.
Although they would fit in my living room. They would be a little to large to look at.

The MA352 amp I have does sound pretty damn good. Nvidia has made me some extra pocket money that is itching to be spent. A while back I was certain I needed a different DAC. I borrowed a few big buck dacs from audio dealers but couldn't find any improvement over what I have. The RME. I did a firmware update on this DAC and it sounded better.

I agree that going from one high powered SS amp to another one might be barely noticeable. But low powered tubes are where heritage klipsch shine. Hence my recommendation.Like a 300B Amp from Western Electric?

My Klipschorns are powered by a McIntosh MA352, a 200watt per channel integrated amp. I am happy with the sound however I wonder if there is a better amp that is capable of a dramatic improvement in sound. My Khorns are modified so I can't just walk in a store and listen to something and expect the same sound. It's not that I am unhappy with the McIntosh, it sounds great but I am wondering if there is something better. Could be I have an itch to spend some money. Suggestions?

Picked these up from https://paducahhometheater.com/ at a great discount. About $3500 to my door. So far, the sound has impressed me. I do like the metal grill as that makes them cat proof.
Nice pics, are the wheels optional?

I would do that.
I use the CT-120 tweeters and they are superior to the K77s and I've read that they have a better frequency range than the CT-125s.

I see no reason to replace them.
I'm with Bacek on this.
Caps in the crossovers have a finite lifespan. From what I've read 10-15 years.

Unfortunately, I bought what I thought were upgraded x-vers called the Super AA crossover from Al KapPenPainInTheAssBerger.
What a joke.
Al K. is a joke.
Don't waste your time, effort or intellectual curiosity on Al. He is a village idiot.

I'd have to disagree with you there. I have a set of extreme slope x-overs I bought from ALK and I am completely impressed. Prior to the extreme slopes I had a pair of Crites x-overs. They sounded ok but I was looking for better sound in the mid range, which required the extreme slopes and a few other components to be installed. I've spent many hours in front of these speakers and am still impressed.

Love watching Adam Savage from Myth Busters do his thing. MeidasTouch comes in as a close second, for their legal analysis. After that anything to do with Cosmos, Science, Medical, Aviation. Sometimes Audio Gear but reviews are not subjective so what's the point?

I've had the pleasure of camping in Colorado, If I recall it was Iron Mtn. Spent 10 days up around 9k ft and during the day we'd hike and climb to the peak. It sure felt good to get down to the plains and breath some real air.
beautiful night skies, doesn't get much better than that.

Open floor plan rooms are the worst for a serious audio system.
Not as bad as post WWII bungalows.

-as it is , the dispersion pattern of the top hat is above your chair , the solution is not to raise but to lower the Mids -HF section by 1-2 inches , effectively lowering the dispersion pattern to the level of your chair .
try this , remove the collar , remove the top hat , place the horn + tweeter directly on top of the bass bin , is it better ?
The mid-range is not removeable from the frame, it's integrated into the frame using some type of adhesive. The mid is wood coated with some type of dampening substance. Best I could do is remove the top hat, remove the frame and set the frame on top of the bass bin. I'd have to place some books under the BMS drivers to prevent the assembly from tilting up. I there are two things I can do, flip the top hat frame over so that the tweeters are on the opposites sides of the speakers and rotate the tweeters 90 degrees so the are mounted in a vertical planes as opposed to a horizontal plane as they are now. Flipping the tweeter would be the easiest change to make. I could also give Greg Volti a call and see what he thinks. He designed and built the top hat configuration.

Are the tweeters side by side with the volti mids or above/below? If side/side there is a left speaker and a right speaker. Have you ever tried swapping the tophats?
Side by Side - Mid tweet
The top hats are currently installed in this configuration: left speaker is [ Mid - tweeter ] and the right speaker [ tweeter - Mid. ], Greg at Volti says he personally prefers the tweeters on the outside rather than the inside. It wouldn't take a lot of work to change that, all I have to do is remove the grill frame from the top hat and flip it over. The Volti mid horns are larger than the K55s they replaced taking up about 85 to 90 % of the vertical space of the grill and about 75% of the horizontal axis. The tweeters are mounted to a motor board in a horizontal configuration centered on the mid horn , rather than being mounted ||. The horizontal mounting of the tweeters would be easy to change simply by rotating the motor board 90 degrees. The tweeters have DE-120 drivers and CNC machined lenses that I purchased from a member of this forum. His name is Dave, don't recall his last name

I assuming that the collar is the wood spacer between the bass bin and the top hat. I would say that my eye level is even with the collar or close to it. I can't remove the mid-horn because it is integrated into the grill frame. The tweeter sits to the side of the mid horn. The best I can do would be to lower the top hat by removing the collar which I think has been done on their current Khorns. Another possibility is to put the top hat on a table next to the bass bin. I like nice sound but I think that would be taking it to the extreme. After I get done with my million other project I may experiment a little with this issue.

Why do you need big power on khorns when 5 watts will play louder (with excellent dynamics) than you can even stand to be in the same room? Not to mention the better sound quality a low power tube amp will get you over a SS behemoth.
I've got a 200W per channel McIntosh MA352 driving my Khorns, It's rare occasion that the power meters ever gets to 2 watts. I chose this hybrid amp because of it's pleasing sound. I've got a 300B amp diy project in the basement that uses 8 300b tubes and puts out 1.5 watts per channel. Should be adequate for the Khorns.

The easiest solution is to sit on the stairs. It's noticeably better sound up high but it still sounds great when in my usual sitting position

Could be the reflection from sloped wall.
I don't think the top hat projects sound up. Could be the large Volti 2" mid range horn and BMS driver. if I recall the volti horn flairs out on all sides and overlaps frequency with the B&C tweeter. So sound would be directed upward from the mid horn. The tweeter also flares in all directions.

Just a brain fart, the RME has both RCA and XLR outputs. I am using the XLR to the amp.
