Darn… Why is this stuff so expensive and cumbersome to ship? I know of another single LSI, one piece, but Raleigh and St. Pete are way far off for me…. I also own a single KPT-250, I wish the klipsch forum had an “orphan” section to help match this stuff up.

Update: made it without incident. One missing corner protector but that was gone when I bought it and the trim will likely be removed to match my raw birch 201. Excited to fire them up!

Update: called southwest, the very nice lady said absolutely you can count a speaker as a checked bag, gave her weight and dimensions and it was way under the limit. Fingers crossed it works

They would be checked bags so under the plane, and need cosmetic attention anyways.

Has anybody flown with Klipsch speakers? I found the KP-201 I need and am flying to Maine tonight. Southwest allows two free checked bags. 201 is less than 50 pounds, I’ve flown with skis and boot bag before and those counted. It is industrial and has handles and armor on the edges, so I am not worried about them damaging it particularly. Any thoughts? Am I nuts to try it?

These would pair great with the set of KP-201s I am attempting to match up. Hoping seller gets back to me with a shipping quote, hesitant to push buy it now and have them cancel afterwards.

Hello, I recently purchased a single KP-201 and would like to make a pair. I am located in Maryland, and the speaker I have is in Maine. So if anybody has a single in either Maine or near Maryland, I would be interested in making a set.
