u all know this is just a remake of the 1998 japanese movie.. the ring... in japan they have the ring 1, 2, and 3 already.... supposedly they are much scarier

doesn't that mean you'll only get 5 mins of audio from the dvd? If that's the case I'm pretty sure that's the problem If the audio cuts off, the decoder won't be receiving any digital audio signals, so the display should read unknown or pcm i believe.

Hi everyone, I just needed some help with the Promedia 5.1 control pod and DD5.1 settings. I was wondering what I should have my control pod settings at. Currently I have the volume at 70db, center 0, rear 10, and sub at 0. I've also set up the equalizer bands for the dd5.1 by following the guide on Justin's site, with prologic enabled (Thanks the site helped alot). I was just wondering though if I should keep the pod at 70db, or either higher or lower the setting on it. Also, I currently have my dvd player connected to the dd5.1 thru regular rca jacks, should I be using a different connection and what kind of wires should I purchase in order to do this? Also, should I disable the field settings on the dd5.1? Finally, the center speaker seems to overpower the rest of the speakers in prologic mode. I've been trying to optimize the speakers for a bit now but I just can't seem to figure it out. Sorry, I guess I asked more questions than I had originally intended, but any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
