  1. I talked w/ Jim and he said these appear to be early 60's. They DO work and sound great! Handling my parents' estate and selling. Make offer: cowgirlinalaska@gmail.com Thanks!
  2. I was finally able to get inside the speaker to look for a #. It appears to be stamped and says 225-01 and, is there something after?? Please let me know what this stamp means? Here's a pic.. Thanks! The speakers I'm referring to are Klipschorns.
  3. Well I'm waiting for an official estimate or idea from Jim, I'm taking offers on these speakers, pics are above, email me for anything else. Needing to sell as I'm handling my dad's estate. Thanks all.
  4. Hello. Dad may have replaced the top tweeters at some point just because he was into electronics & music and wanted the best sound, but by midrange horn do you mean the black horn pic you attached? That by the photos you can tell is 60's? You think I should open one up and get pics of what's inside? How would I get an estimate or appraisal? I'm needing to sell them unfortunately, as part of my dad's estate.
  5. More photos of the side and back as requested..
  6. Hello! Yes, this is what the side panel looks like. I'll need help getting into it so I don't hurt anything. The set here looks like the pic above, with the top and decorative trim / frame added, can you see that in the photos I posted, or should I go try to open it and get more?
  7. Thank you, I put this stuff aside for a bit while getting other things done, now I'm ready to try to figure out more about these speakers. They look like the one behind Belle, but with a completed frame.
  8. I can't find my old post here from several months ago now when I first asked about this, please point me to the right person again? I have a pair of the 5 foot Klipschorn speakers built in about 41/42 (maybe 43/44?) by Paul Klipsch and my grandfather (they were friends) that I'm looking to sell as part of my dad's estate. I'm interested in getting an appraisal in person for them if anyone can help point me in the right direction. I'm in Oklahoma. They are gorgeous, in excellent working condition, see photo below of one of them. They come with the matching center entertainment center they made at the same time. Just need more info on how to get an appraisal, how to sell etc. idk how to reach the right people and don't wanna put my email here, but if you can help please let me know how to reach you. Here is ONE photo, you can see it behind my mother. I don't want full photos of them public until I know what we have. Any info greatly appreciated. Can email more and better photos. Thanks! -Debbie
  9. Yep, he took over after grandpa John J Gazalski passed, now someone else owns it after he passed last year. My other uncle Don passed just before my dad John V, in February. Sad, they're all gone now But the stories and keepsakes and memories last forever.
  10. No that's my uncle Dick, my dad's brother. Their dad was my grandpa.
  11. John J Gazalski, owner of G&H Decoys was my grandfather. They made two sets, this set is in original excellent condition. I believe these were made in 45 or 46, it was before he opened his business, these were practice sets or prototypes you could say. I'll get them out again and look, and will email you more photos. The panel on the side to get inside it has many screws so it won't be easy for me to open it but I'll try, to look for more info.
  12. These aren't perfect pics but I'll get good ones next time I go to the house. They were built in the early to mid 40s.
