Actually, I already have a pair of KG2s that I used to use as mains but they are 4 ohm and my receiver does not support 4 ohm loads. I am using the KG.5s because they are 8 ohm and a better fit in my smallish room. Eventually I will sell my KG2s.

What would be a good center channel match for my KG.5 mains? I currently have a KV-2.

I don't get it. The price that I see for SB-1s is $249.98. I don't see any 60% off pricing at all.

Does anyone know how much the retail price was on the KG.5s when they were new?

I would like to trade my KG2s for something smaller. Anyone interested in trading a pair of SB-1s for the KG2s? They are in mint condition and never driven hard.

It is possible that your receiver cannot handle a 4 ohm load. The KG2s are 4 ohm and your receiver may be working to hard and shutting down.
