  1. Henry,

Welcome to the Forum. Any of the Heratige line will be a good match.Right now there is a pr of Cornwalls for sale on the forum for $800.It's been said in that thread that they probably won't last long. Looking at the pics, I agree. They would be an excellent match.

  2. I'm also a fan of the RC7,although I just replaced one with a LaScala. My rear centers are still RC7s, until my other LaS gets a recently purchased ALK installed so the squawker squawks. The RC7 will cover a lot of room, & you're right about it producing splendid detail. It kept-up well with my Khorn mains. It will improve (mellow) after a break-in period.

  3. One of the values of this site is that we are introduced to information that sophisticates us as audiophiles-however unsophisticated some of us may be. Sometimes that means digging into our wallets to please our ears.My systems and quality of life have improved with purchases of music, equipment, and services both suggested, and offered, here. Those thousands of dollars have been put in the hands of other Klipsch fans (& businesses selling me six new Klipsch speakers) who perpetuate the Klipsch legacy.

Moderators, your customers are asking for a service that promotes your business.

  4. Frzninvt,

My TV looks awkward hanging over the sides of the LaS, & sitting up so high, but the carpet was getting too much of my sound, & my lady sits "off axis". I had also gotten used to a wide soundstage with the RC7.It is a compromise either way.I'd really like to hang it above the TV, but the Omnimount that will hold it is several hundred $. Maybe Christmas...

    JM,

The first multichannel SACD I played was 100% convincing. Then we watched a DVD. Surround Sound found.

  5. I've turned the LaS right-side-up & 100% agree with all posters who thought I'd lost my ears to say that the LaS doesn't reproduce dialogue as well as the RC7. On its' side, under the TV,it was lousy_,especially when compared to a well-positioned,good-sounding center speaker.Standing upright, it positions the TV a little higher than is ideal for me,but it sure sounds sweet,& much more seamless than the RC7 with the Khorn mains.I'll soon have the ALKs in,& look forward to that improvement.
