Hi I am puzzled between the DENON AVR-X8500H VS AVR-X6700H. Which one should I choose. 1. Are both new models, is one new over the other ? 2. Does the 13 channel make a significant difference ? 3. Is 8500H discontinued, does that mean it’s not recommended to buy it ? appreciate all the response and help acoustic screen - 30feet by 16feet room LCR: KLIPSCH RP 8000 ceiling - Pro 180 RPC - 4pc side - RP 502S backside - RP 600M @billybob @inMotionGraphics @wvu80 @Ceptorman @Islander thank you so much Fermin

New To The Community Hello Everyone: I wanted to know if the Denon x3400h has enough to power my setup? Aside from the x4400h & Onkyo tx-rz820 are my other choices for receivers. If you have any other recommendations on receivers please do. As for my current build I have Fronts - 160m Center - 250c Sub - r-10sw Rear Surround - 240s I know you lose out on some channels on the Denon's or so I read something like that. I'm currently running a Sony str-1070dn as my receiver. I know it isn't the greatest but I found it for 120 bucks a while back. Thanks for everyone's time & advice.

Hey everyone first post here! Recently just purchased the RC-62ii center channel and I currently have the R-28f hooked up as a stereo setup for mainly music and have a pair of the R-15M stored away in the closet because I'm slowly working my way up to a 5.1 setup for more movie focused sound. So my question is will my RC-62ii match well with these 4 or will it be a problem that its the reference II series vs. reference I. It didn't cross my mind at first but then I read that all speakers should have the same exact tweeters for the right sound. Thoughts? Also, any subs that you guys recommend? if any component of the system I would be open to another brand would be the sub. so throw any and all recommendations out there. I'm currently looking at the BIC Acoustech PL-200 and the R-12SWi and R-112SW if I can find them for the right price (under $500) Thank you!

Hi, so i bought a use promedia 2.1 last night and the two satalites where placed right on top of the sub when i tested it out there so i couldnt tell whether the right channel was quiet before i bought it or after however when i came home and plugged both my phone and laptop, the sound from the right speaker comes out much quieter than the left (left speaker has the control pod). I switched the wires in the back plugging the right speaker into the left channel and then the same thing happened, left speaker works just fine and right speaker (with the control pod) is now really quiet. i can still change the volume or bass on the control pod so i assumed the right channel in the sub itself is the problem. I was just wondering if this is a common problem and if there is a quick solution to this as i have no experience with fixing electronics.

The way music/noise was/?is meant to be? Sure movies have music...hifi,midfi or lowfi music is for 2 channels! Even if be in the new Klipsch Earhorns? Anybody? Anyone? Or just me, yeah i thought so...
