  1. We wanted to let you know about a potential Klipsch Pilgrimage that is coming up. We are trying to gauge interest with this poll. Here are the details! The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, through it's partnership with Klipsch, is graciously offering discount tickets to their annual Chef Jam event on Sunday, June 7th, in addition to discount admission to the Rock Hall Museum the day before (Saturday, June 6th). Cleveland’s top chefs will make their menus look more like set lists for the 7th Annual Chef Jam on Sun., June 7 at 7 p.m. at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. These culinary rock stars will trade their aprons for costumes and decorate food stations in rock motif to serve up creative specialties inspired by their favorite band or musician. The evening will also include special performances by Tropidelic and the Cream of the Crop All Stars. More info on Chef Jam: https://rockhall.com/pressroom/announcements/chef-jam-rock-hall-2015/ https://rockhall.com/event/chef-jam-2015/ More info on the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Museum: https://rockhall.com/ The combo price offered to Klipsch fans is $82.35 per person (a $15 savings). This will get you consumer admission to the Museum on Saturday and admission to Chef Jam on Sunday. The Rock Hall also has many hotel partners that offer reduced pricing through their website, as a one-stop-shopping website experience, which you'll be able to pick from hotels in your desired price range In case you didn't know, with our partnership with the Rock Hall, we've outfitted the Museum with the following: 175 pairs of Klipsch Reference On-Ear headphones -- unparalleled comfort with the sonic signature of our legendary, flagship Reference speaker line. 20 Klipsch Reference R-20B sound bar and wireless subwoofers. 16 pairs of Klipsch Compact Performance CP-4 series speakers. We will continue to update product throughout the venue over the next three years. This "Pilgrimage" is a way to thank you fans by giving you discounts to the Museum and the Chef Jam. If you've never been to the Rock Hall and you are a music fan at all, it is definitely worth the trip and time. So much music history is in that museum! Please vote in the poll as we are trying to gauge interest in this offer before we make the offer real. We realize it's short notice, so that's why we are polling you all before we finalize this. The poll will close this Friday around 3pm ET. Thanks!
  2. I have not been very active on the Forum over the past few yrs. I read some of the postings here (after migrating to the new Forum system and the new look). Looks like a few folks got together in Hope in late March, but sounded like less than dozen. When I last knew a few things about the company, ?Fred Klipsch was running things, but basically was not interested in us (c. 2007), likely as he had bigger fish to fry. I have no idea what is going on with the company now. Let's face it, the "kids" (those of the IPod generation) have Zero interest in speakers that weigh more than they do. Too bad for them. But in a bad economy, they also don't have the money for Heritage speakers. Even the worst marketing folks know that free and easy P R by keeping product users happy is very desirable - but only if the users are touting the currently sold and profitable products. It would have been nice to have more warm fuzzies from Klipsch than just the website at this time. Oh well….. From what I gather, there is no other planned get together this spring / summer. FWIW, I have moved again, having started a new job at The National Cancer Institute, part of the NIH in the DC area. Awesome job, but I do miss New Orleans. Any members from the DC area, please say hello !! In the meantime, let’s for some type of GTG in 2015, even if informal and not in conjunction with Klipsch as a company. ….NOLA….. (
