Avinator
Hi, I just purchased a pair of KG4's from an ad on Craiglist. The are in pristine condition - almost too pristine... How do I find the authenticity of the speakers? I see the serial numbers on the back. For some reason, my Heresy ( purchased them from a dealer ) seem sound "better" - a much crisper sound. Thanks for your help.
SilverSport
Many like the Heresys better (me for instance)...the Heresy is a 3 way speaker and the kg4 is a two way...the kg should have more bass but I found the Heresy to sound clean but for the somewhat lacking bass (only noticed when directly compared to something with more bass...such as your kg4)...the Heresys were a more expensive by far speaker than kg4s when new... Avinator
Hi Bill, Thanks for the response. I borrowed my friends MAC amp about an hour ago and the speakers came to live... Amazing..... Had no idea 2 way speakers sound so good... ( I still love my Heresys !
SilverSport
Glad you are enjoying them...the kgs were the more bargain priced and the kg2s and kg4s were the first...very well liked...I had kg2s... Bill
