Guest BobG Posted February 8, 2002 Share Posted February 8, 2002 There is a time delay in the turnoff cycle. Have you tried letting it sit for an hour to see if it never shuts off? The 24/7 on mode just uses a bit of electricity, not enough to matter, though strict conservationists will tell you that all this 'idle power' adds up to quite a bit of waste. Others will tell you it's better to leave electronics on all the time. If your auto function is not working and the sub is covered by the warranty, it can be fixed free of charge. Take back to the authorized Klipsch dealer it was purchased from and bring a copy of the receipt. The electronics have 2 year parts and labor coverage while the rest of the product has 5 years p+l. I know one thing when on auto and it is shut down it doesn't activate automatically. The warranty - now there the rub. Bought online from, probably dubious characters who no longer sell on line. It worked fine and it was original packaging; however Klipsch is kinda sensitive about such issues. That and it really is not worth taking in and loosing for who know how long.
