Tommy B
I purchased a Pioneer - 600W 5.1-Ch. Apple® iPod®/Satellite Radio-Ready Home Theater Receiver along with Klipsch - Synergy Series Quintet III 5-Piece Home Theater Speaker System and a Klipsch - 10" 420W Powered Subwoofer. I have a Wii and a dvd player and a satellite receiver with a 42" Magnavox big screen. I'm going to upgrade my tv in a few months, but what all di I hook into the TV and the receiver? Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks, Tommy
tommyboy
the only thing I have running into the TV is the cable video, and blu ray video. Everything else goes into the receiver. No audio is plugged into my TV at all. But if you don't want to always use your system for sound, then by all means, plug the audio into the TV ............ jamesV
Welcome to the forum, The manual for the Pioneer should point you in the right direction as to what goes where. From hooking up the speakers to the DVD player, Wii and the satellite receiver. Tommyboy is correct. If you want to use the speakers all the time then everything will run thru the receiver then out to the TV. But if you just want to use the TV speakers then you have to hook up everything to the TV, the Wii and DVD player. James
RockOn4Klipsch
I use my reciever all the time, so I hook everything possible up to the reciever, with 1 HDMI cable to the TV. Make sure you remember waht inputs you assigned to each device (ie cbl/sat - to you cable box, CD - to your CD player) makes things easier.
