Surroundreceiver for KLF-30

I need you guys to help me find a surroundreceiver for them.. I also have Dali blue series center and rear.. But I wanna get rid of those, and get me KLF-C7, and KSP-S6, or RS-7 for rears.. Atleast the matching center, since it's the 3 front speakers that make up for the most sound, and therefor have to be of the same series..

I've been thinking about this for a while.. and the best choice would be to buy a receiver that doesnt have all that much W, and in return spend more money on monoblock or stereoblock?

To be honest I haven't got a clue how they work, or what the difference on them is, I just figured out how and where they can be used.. So if anyone want to explain to me, please do so :)

Price range is ~1500$ for both, I was hoping to find a cheap used block.

So, anyone got some advice on what I should get?

Even if it ups the price range, please tell me any good combinations..

So you want to get a receiver and use it as a pre-amp with an outboard power amp?

If so, I'd recommend a receiver from a brand such as Denon, Harman/Kardon, Onkyo or Yamaha. Find one with the features you're looking for. Don't skimp too much on quality for the receiver though.

For the outboard power amp you can get three channel amps from companies such as Rotel. They'd run your front three speakers and generally give them more headroom than the amplifiers in a receiver can. You can use the receiver's amp for the rear channels or buy a matching two channel amp from the same company and series as the three channel amp for the fronts.

Also you want to look for the receiver to have "Pre-Out" for the speakers in order to use it with external amps.

thx for the replies. do you think the Rotel RB-1070 would be sufficient to run the klf-30's?

and then one Rotel RB-06 or Rotel RB-1050 for the center C7?

my brother thinks i should just get a music angel, and use the klf 30's for music.. and get some dali fronts for the dali blue series, and use dali blue series as 5.1 for movies.. which would be alot cheaper :P

but then again. it would be rly awesome to have the klf 30's as fronts, the c7 center, and klf-s6 or rs-7.....

How much money do u recon i would have to use on just the amplifiers, receiver to get them running properly?
