jarrod2750 Posted January 25, 2009 Share Posted January 25, 2009 I got my hands on a pair of Klipsch Epic CF 3's. I am hoping they are the version 1's. They have the 5"ports and clear jacketed internal wiring, and are serial #'s 26549074 & 75. I am not sure how to decipher the serial numbers, so any info would be appreciated. Also, what power recommendations would you suggest. I have them hooked up to a pioneer 94 which outputs 140 watts per channel. Is that enough power? I appreciate the help. oldmako Posted January 26, 2009 Share Posted January 26, 2009 I have the same speaks. I picked mine up about 3 months ago or so. I am currently running them with a 110 watt SS Sony. It's a temp set up as I am in the same boat....namely looking for a decent 2 CH amp/receiver. They thunder now, I can't imagine them needing the power they've got.
