If I am getting the Klipsch SB 3 for mains and KSB 1.1 for rears how much drop off, if any, would I have if I went with the KSC C1 vs the SC 1? QUiKSR20 Posted February 12, 2002 Share Posted February 12, 2002 I dont know how much the diffrence is but i have just upgraded to the SC-1 Should be here today from the KSCC1 so ill keep you posted. The KSCC1 is matched to the old synergy line with the 90x40 horn vs the 90x60 Square vs rectangle older one. Im sure its not a huge diffrence but it may suprsise me. I got my SC-1 on brandnamez.com for 170 shipped new in box from supposely an authorized dealer. From what they told me they buy and then resell from an authorized dealer whatever i dont know but thats the only place to get it cheap. I saw one on ebay for a bit and then never again where as the KSCC1 is all over ebay.. I am actually changing over from my Quintet system. I really hope there is not that much of a difference. I have been looking at Brandnamez also. some good some bad reviews. Well i can definitly tell a diff now that i have heard both but i would say if you havent heard the newer SC-1 you probaly wont hear a diff. I didnt notice it as much until i owned the newer one. the older KSCC1 will definately get the job done for you...Good luck.
