Shock-Late
I was wondering if it would be worth building a pair of Cornwall boxes, but without the mids and tweets and x-overs, to use them as subs with my scalas? Do the cornwall reach the lower frequencies? Also, should I use the a K33E woofer? the reason i'd like to do it is that the cornwall doesn't seem to be very difficult to build, just a well-made square box... Thanks, Frans
Al Klappenberger
Frans, I have used a Cornwall as a center fill between Belle Klipsch for years. It does act as a subwoofer to a degree, but I would NOT do what you are proposing. They help the Belles low end, but not like a good "real" sub. That's why I just bought a used LF-10! Al K.
