dsommerl
Most mfgs code their SN# to indicate at least a month and year of manufacture---does any one know the Klipsch code---(if there even is one)? Tks Dave

dsommerl
So, the cabinet needs to be opened up to get a mfg date?---not coded into the SN# I take it Turns out--can't use one HeresyII for the ctr---would have to tear apart a cabinet I sweated my B--- and wallet off building----hoping to close on an Academy soon Am seeing Heresy's on EBay---but not II's (I don't think)---that's why was wondering about SN# coding on Heresy's and other K spkrs----On the H II"s---I guess if it doesn't say "HeresyII" on the back cabinet sticker--then it isn't a II---correct? Guest BobG
H II's are marked as such. You don't have to open the cabinet to find the s/n on Heritage models. The tailboard is on the rear side of the speaker and the embossed number is very easy to see. Other models have s/n tags on rear panel. hwatkins
Check your inbox. I have sent you a candid review of the dealers I have visited in the area. Since they are candid reviews of my impressions and only valuable as my view, I did not want them in a public forum. ------------------ Henry Watkins
HornEd
That's the spirit, hwatkins, putting out the real scoop (in your opinion) to help out a neighbor (of good intentions). A fine example of how we can help each other and not make it a public hassle. Good thinking... I hope it catches on. HornEd ------------------ "LEADING 8 LEGENDS INTO THE 6.1 GENERATION!"
