colterphoto1
a little halloween party for a young persons organization I volunteer with. They wanted to do 'battle of the bands' which turned into more of a 'talent show' format when only one band signed up. But I did the best I could for each player/act. Here's how much Klipsch PA I could pack into one full-sized pickup bed load 1 KP682 dual 18 sub 2 KP362 15 three way full range speakers 2 KSM 2 15" monitors 1 tall rack with Mackie board and processing 1 short rack with 3x Crown MT1200 (1 each subs, mains, monitors) = 3000 watts milk crates of cables for speakers, mic/xlr, misc 6 mic stands snake (borrowed from Roger- he actually made it himself back in the day- it worked fine) And yes, this is load out INSIDE the SHOP, on a rainy day. Its soooo nice to have space!

colterphoto1
Heading out tonight to a treatment center near where I live. A counselor there is trying a 'musical ministry' thing with guitar players and small combos slated to stop in for brief gigs before and after a large group meeting. I'm just going to check it out tonight. She said 'they're bringing an amp and say that I need a microphone with 1/4" plug'. They need my help. What I need is a small rack with 4 channel mixer, single amp, and a couple of KP250's. That should be just fine but I'll go tonight just to see what's up. This is slated for a weekly Friday night meeting in the future if it goes well.
