winchester21 Posted April 7, 2009 Share Posted April 7, 2009 My room is used for a variety of purposes. Lots of stuff blocking up the area around the walls. My Ht system sounded great- but what if.. I raised the horns on my center and rear Lascalas up to the same height as the top section of the front K horns???? Off to Lowes- 6 pieces of 25/32 plywood- 15 large - 3 small cinder blocks and 12 dollars worth of felt from the fabric store. Plywood top /bottoms cut 24 x 26. 2 hours of moving stuff- stacking blocks- and covering the thing with black felt. BIG IMPROVEMENT!!!!! Had to readjust the center down just a bit. If your listening room is less than perfect I highly reccomend doing/trying this. Total cost for 3 Lascalas elevated 20"- less than 60 dollars.
