Bouncer1234
ok heres what I am working with....as of now I have a pair of synergy s2 floor standing speakers...which for the price I payed I couldn't be more happeir with the way they perform. The next thing I want to add to my setup is a sub. I was impressed with the synergy series based off the perfromace of my floor standers..so I was almost sold on getting the ksw12 but then i read some bad reviews on it. Is spending the extra money to get the RW-10d going to realy be worth it. I have the money but I like the to save money as well and I also love performance so I try to strike a balance between all of that...is the rw10d really gonna be better even though its 2 inches smaller and doesn't down fire. It costs more but my friend tells me thats just because you can turn it louder without it blowing...but will give it give me nicer hard hitting..tighter bass that will be great for ht and music as well....if there is another sub at around the same price that will give me what I want please share. Also my room is 14 by 13 and no openings with a wood floor and 2 windows which are usually closed. Thank you for any input.
yamahaSHO
My personal suggestion would be to go with the Sub12 or the RW-12d if you're looking to stay with Klipsch. You can find them for cheap if you look around. Otherwise, if you want a really good sub for the money, go with an Internet Direct company. liebherr954
Welcome to the Klipsch forums! I have not heard a lot of Klipsch subs but I can tell you that the Sub-12 is a great sub at a great price. The Sub-12 goes low (24hrz) and has a lot of power, I have the gain turned down to about 25% and it rocks. Prior to the Sub-12 I had a Paradigm PDR-10, there is no comparison between them at all. Well I hope this helps.
