GreggyVT
I'm kind of in a bind. I bought Synergy speakers, F2, C2, but realized I can get the RF-62s for only slightly more. I can still return the F2s, but I can't return the C2. So instead of buying a new center channel and paying an additional $200 (wasting $200 on the C2) - I was wondering if pairing the RF-62s with the Synergy C2 center would sound OK for home theatre? wuzzzer
It would sound ok, but do you want it to sound just ok or do you want it to sound great? Always match the front speakers as closely as possible. Synergy with Synergy, Reference with Reference, etc. You will like having F2s much better with your C2 center speaker. tommyboy
To piggy back off Wuzzzer, you want the front 3 to be timbre matched. The front soundstage is the most important in HT. I wouldn't run 62's with a C2 center.........
