Tejaus
First post, I've come across a pair of KP-3002-C speakers in a pawn shop for 250.00. One of the tweeters is blown otherwise they seem to be in good condition. I've read in the forum that the tweeter is an Eminence PSD 2002 so that should be an easy fix. My question is are the K-48-KP woofers standard Eminence drivers or are they proprietary, i.e. expensive and only available from Klipsch? They seem to have very large dustcaps on the pawn shop ones. I don't want to worry if one blows that it will cost an arm and a leg to replace it or they're hard to come by. Here's a link with a reconed K-48-K, is it different than a K-48-KP? http://www.speakerrepair.com/repairpicshtml/klipsch-k48k.html
PrestonTom
If you search the threads you will find a data sheet on these. The k-48s come up occasionally on eBay. You can also phone Klipsch about replacement parts. Good Luck, -Tom
