shortstack31489 Posted May 11, 2009 Share Posted May 11, 2009 so in my living room i have a cabinet with swinging doors...i have my towers placed to the sides of it but i really have no place for the sub so what i was wondering is can i place the sub behind the door and it still sound alright? CECAA850 Posted May 11, 2009 Share Posted May 11, 2009 It shouldn't cost anything to try. I would liken it to putting a subwoofer in the trunk of your car. michael hurd Posted May 12, 2009 Share Posted May 12, 2009 You could try it, I am going to go out on a limb and say that it may rattle, if the cabinet doors buzz and rattle, you might be able to heal it with thick weatherstripping foam from a hardware store.
