sub-raider
Wassappenin'... So I have an existing 6.1 system. C-2 is my center chanel. I have a C-1 for my single back surround, along with the synergy III back speakers. Im about to upgrade to a full 7.1 I wanted to know if I could pull it off with another C-1 speaker since I already have one? My fronts are klipsch F-3's. Islander
So you want to add a second rear C-1 to your present rear C-1 to go from 6.1 to 7.1? Why not? It should sound fine.
HAMP
I agree, that would be fine! I just want to add, the center channel from the quintet III's is not considered a C-1 Quintet center = 3.5in woofer C-1 = 4in woofer C-2 = 5.25in woofer C-3 = 6.5in woofer That is a interesting thought, I have a 5.1 in my bedroom and my Quintet III center is sitting in a drawer, I guess I could add that and make it a 6.1 or sell it.
