hificanada
Like the sound of the RF-83 on the Inter-M, 10.5 [350 watts RMS per channel] for the lower frequencies but not the horns, have them taped over now. I just ordered another tube amp the ELITE80 just to run the horns. When I take the bus strapes off, what does the top terminals run, does it run the horn only? And what does the bottom terminals run? Does it run the three 8in drivers only?

hificanada
Hope that there is enought load on the horns, do not want to damage the amp?????
kouack
Huhhh, why you would damage your amp? I own a HK AVR that i'm using only as a pre-amp for my surround, 0 speaker hooked up to my receiver just using the pre-out and i never broke a thing. Todays amps can run without a load hook up so a horn is better than no load at all.
hificanada
I thought the same ,but just finished reading some were, a load is needed or can damage the output tubes.
kouack
Horn still a 8 ohms load or what ever the impedance of that specific horn.
