Mighty Favog Posted March 4, 2002 Share Posted March 4, 2002 We've got some industrial discoteque type JBL-300's that have Altec 411A woofers. The biggest problem is that about every eight to ten years we have to replace the surrounds because they just disintegrate to what looks like 200 year old parchment paper. Can anyone suggest a more bullett proof surround for these monsters. We're running them 16ohm with a Phase Linear 400 (LF) bi-amped with a Hafler (model??), BGW 202 preamp, SAE 2700b eq., SAE 24(?) crossover. ------------------ Tom's Money Pit Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
