tidmack
Hi Everyone, I'm on the prowl for a steeper-sloped network for my LaScalas. I'm currently running a pair of 84's with non-alnico K55's and K77's. Years ago, I tried an AA netowork in a pair of this vintage and wasn't happy. It was determined after some discussion on the forum that the K55-M (that's the newer version, right?) isn't really designed for the earlier networks like the A and AA. However, I have been happy with the sound of A and AA networks in alnico equipped LaScalas. Sooooo, will an AL 2, 3, 4, or ALK be a better choice? I don't have the money to spend on a new pair of Al's networks, but might be interested in used if the price is right. Are any of Klipsch's newer stock networks close to the sound of Al's? I have a spare pair of original AA's as trade bait if anyone is interested too. thanks Jeff
