You can buy a used one on Ebay for $35 so why bother fixing? And while you're at it, you might as well upgrade to a better TT, preferably belt drive. Those old direct drive TT are not very good. They always weighted the performance specs so the general public wouldn't see how bad the rumble really was. What you have there is really just a "record player", fully integrated and fully automatic (not good if you want to get the most out of your LPs.
