Your welcome. All i did was took the motorboard out which was not a easy task and cut the holes on the new piece of board and placed hornes and subs in. I did get bucking magnets for them because of the display i was using then . The only thing i did not do that i would have liked is to recess the subs and horns but i did not have acess to a router.

It just quit power transformer was very HOT. Checked for current at the 2 black post was hot also at the brown & white wires they were hot but the 2 red wires are not. Does that mean the transformer is fried ?

Happy holidays everybody, Power transformer on turntable got so hot you could not touch it. Needless to say it quit, i have power at the incoming 2 black wires also at the brown & white, nothing at the 2 red. Is this telling me the transformer is fried ?

Thank you one and all for your input. I currently have a oppo 981 and soon getting a Integra DTR 7.9. Right now i am going right into a oppo 3 in 1 out splitter with my dish old voom recevier for over air and the dvd player the picture is pretty nice but i always think i can do better.
